The proposed expansion is to build a third quay to the north + extension of the yard area.

They applied for the early extension of their 25 year contract so that the work would be able begin as soon as possible

It looks like they are getting the 25 year extension to the terminal's licence.

By granting it early, Wilson's are telling the Brazil State, they will in return spend £££; on upgrading the port.

Thereby hoping to attract more business to it & earn a good rate of return on that additional investment as well as the cash already invested in Tecon Salvador.

Shipyards
• The Shipyard orderbook at the end of the quarter included five
tugboats for the Wilson Sons fleet, two tugboats for Saam Smit
Towage Brasil and two PSV’s for WSUT. The Saam Smit has
options for a further four vessels.

• The IFRS quarterly CAPEX is 98.5% higher, largely as a result of
the one-off acquisition of six tugboats that were previously the
subject of bareboat lease contracts by the Company.

• New Towage vessels and Port Terminal equipment remain the
principal 1Q16 CAPEX items. Port Terminals equipment
includes: 3 Ship-to-shore (STS) and 11 Rubber tyred gantry
(RTG) to be delivered in 2017.

Agree OCN looks great value with plenty of recovery potential ahead. This value is even better realised by buying Hana.l which has over a third of its asset in OCN but also offers over 35% discount to its NAV. All IMO and do your own research.

I bought a shareholding yesterday, very illiquid but I can see good value here, I think this another stock that could benefit significantly from recovering commodity prices. The Brazilian economy will improve once there is a political cleansing process IMHO . In the meantime the yield is very attractive and at some point , who knows when, they may get their act together on the investments front but that'll be a bonus rather than a necessity.

Hi ,

Piedro, is trying to tell you that the 1st of the overseas built PSV for the Wilson's joint venture is due to be delivered, unfortunately as we all know the sector is in the doldrums at the moment & there is little demand for foreign registered PSV's.

Hence one of the 3 ordered a couple of years ago was cancelled, but we're still getting the other 2. Plus the ones being built in our own shipyard, but as they are Brazil registered, they have long term contracts already in place.
