27/12/2013 16:00 | I'm not sure it will. I think it may be more that they saved their own jobs for a extra period than concern for the company or investors- I hope I'm wrong. | teemore
21/12/2013 01:36 | Unfortunately, this deal does not provide relief from further equity fund raisings. I'd be happy to invest once I can see 6 months without a placing. However as it stands they probably won't have enough cash, in the short term, to contribute their 25% share, which could be around £800k. At least they've saved the company, and it will eventually recover. They had no choice once Centamin apparently snubbed them. IMPO/DYOR/NAI Jo | jojo_jo

11/12/2013 09:21 | Kefi minerals! No wonder share price has dropped. Kefi Buys @ 3p then sells shares at 2p to fund the acquisition. Brilliant negotiating skills shown by nyota .... Ye ye. What a fu. No wonder Cey want out. | troc1958
10/12/2013 11:06 | so, Centamin (CEY) was in fact interested in Ampella Mining (AMX-ASX) 1 Centamin share for 5 Ampella is a 116% premium to the suspension price, but obviously somewhat lower than the dizzy heights achieved in 2011. | s0rayad
04/12/2013 18:31 | Hello, anyone here? | ajseabright
21/11/2013 13:52 | The company expected that at an assumed $1 050/oz gold price to "provide a robust case in a changing gold price environment". Grades were estimated at 2.4 g/t for the first five years of the mine raising gold output from the pit to 133 000 oz, up from 105 000 oz, representing $30-million to $50-million a year in revenue in the first five years. Combining the openpit with the underground mine could produce some 70 000 oz/y to 80 000 oz/y. Capital expenditure was projected at $221-million, with assumed operating cash costs of $600/oz. Market analysts at share price Angel, in London said it was interesting to see the market take up so much stock being sold. - See more at: [...] | marty421
20/11/2013 04:47 | LOOKS VERY BAD @ZaksTradingCafe share price Angel analyst John Meyer wrote in a note to clients, #CEY, #NYO "The optimisation plan announced back in June sounded 'robust' but we note the company noted at the time it needed to do further work to redesign the pit and its scheduling, review the operating costs for inclusion into the feasibility study and update the resource model. The company had just under $1-million in June and may not have afforded to complete the work for the publication of a new net present value at the lower gold price," analyst John Meyer wrote in a note to clients. | liam wilson

16/11/2013 16:20 | Courty CEY had no interest in removing Chase, they just wanted to freeze NYO out into administration. It was clear that they were not going to be able to do that when NYO announced they had cash remaining beyond the 15th November then the deal for the unsecured loan whilst due diligence went through. CEY could see that any deal would be worth much less than the then and now market cap so they sold what the market would take as failure was looking likely. The two possible outcomes are not attractive. | lucky punter
16/11/2013 11:42 | Care to explain to us all then your thoughts monkeyboy,,, | courty2
15/11/2013 20:31 | Dont make sence, why would cey sell loads of shares ,then not have enough votes to get rc out ????? | courty2
15/11/2013 19:55 | No surprise with today's result or the response from the share price. The two remaining options value NYO at about .3-4p a share or zero depending on the outcome of due diligence. Whatever the outcome Richard Chase is very close to the end of his involvement. A very unsatisfactory end to a company that showed promise a year or more ago. The beginning of the end was the realisation that the DFS for TK was not viable without re-working. NYO do not have the couple of million that will cost or the talent on the remaining board to deliver that. Hopefully for shareholders the new partner will be technically competent and well funded. | lucky punter
