05/11/2013 11:12 | Mr 5% - unfortunately, those 'big buys' you were talking about were in fact CEY selling down their holding: 23/10 - 600k 24/10 - 1.2m 30/10 - 3.8m 31/10 - 5m 01/11 - 4m Now how many of those are your big buys!! Just cannot understand the reasoning, unless it is spite, as they seem to be cutting off their noses to spite their face!! Unless of course, the sale of the asset is irrevokable - will it not need a vote of shareholders at some time? | enfranglais
05/11/2013 11:03 | Re: all this negative news above here: Centamin may well be selling lots of shares but someone is buying them. Someone sees a profit in this situation. | cinquepercento
05/11/2013 10:20 | It would appear the CEY Big Sells are determining where the price goes at the moment! BH | bradley12
05/11/2013 09:53 | 3XBAGGER news on the way minimum | pathai3
05/11/2013 08:23 | Time to cut & run with NYO?! Big news coming on FML? Ex CEO predicts 8 fold (yes 8 fold!) increase in market cap by end of 2014. Sp has been battered...news due soon. Be quick! | smythy4
05/11/2013 06:29 | cey dumping big worked sells | mrshaungcm
04/11/2013 17:17 | By virtue of the best case outcome the 3-4m is the value de-risked for the opportunity for failure of due diligence and the only remaining outcome of adminitration when NYO cannot pay the loan back. | lucky punter
04/11/2013 16:13 | smythy4 - created 23rd Sept 2013 - pretty much the same comment on other boards except one - obviously the one to ramp. | weegeordie
04/11/2013 16:08 | Still looking over-valued to me. Much further to drop before it reflects fair value. | smythy4
04/11/2013 13:10 | Yes, I was hoping for more big buys today. | cinquepercento
04/11/2013 12:58 | Quite so Weegeordie, as so often patience is the order of the day but time is ticking away. | yorgi
04/11/2013 12:29 | Not much going on today - if CEY are still interested they will have to do something soon imo. WG | weegeordie
03/11/2013 20:53 | Posted on iii by Boneidle L&L I've done the self same thing and at times been down right nervous. My underpinning comfort is drawn from the geology and opportunity. Though I appreciate many consider the deposit skinny, one has to reflect that the now exhausted Sukhaybarat Mine on the Arabian Nubian Shield (ANS) was the first (orogenic) gold deposit in modern times to be mined. This commenced in 1991, when it had 17.6T Au at a grade of 1.1g/T. (Johnson et al 2011) NYO do not consider TK to be orogenic, but in respect of grade this becomes a bit of an irrelevance. I read that the gold mining in Arabia is well understood, perhaps less so on the Nubian side of the shield, though the south eastern desert of Egypt has a number of mines and there are numerous studies of these. A dislocated district of the ANS shield is present in the West of Ethiopia and this is much less understood with much less published information (some around Yubdo) and therefore there is perhaps less certainty. From an economic aspect the infrastructure is substantially different, but the Govt's plan & that of IFC is to stimulate development. I understand better now why NYO were charging around their tenements delineating prospects in what appeared an ad hoc fasion & not wholly focusing on TK as this will provide future development opportunity whilst releasing a substantial holding on a gateway opportunity of the TK mine & processing centre. So who will want this "gateway opportunity" to establish themselves in the new province of Western Ethiopia? CEY long thought that this was a sound investment & good opportunity to diversify away from the established ANS province of south east Egypt, which extends naturally into Sudan & Tigray. IMHO I suspect that CEY will come back with an improved offer, irrespective of whether the toys are still being hurled. Yes the opportunity has risks, like transport, energy, politics and knowledge in mining a new type of deposit, but so does standing still in a province that everyone now fully understands & with political uncertainty. (Nb Johnson reports the Sukari mine is a classic example of an orogenic structurally controlled veined deposit). I anticipate counter offers, but my excitement is tempered by 1] the gold price and movement with for example Barrick Gold on Friday, which allowed the days rise to falter somewhat; 2] The relationship with the MoM & CEY. Will Chase stay? I hope so, the Tanzanian experience stands him in good stead & reputationally if he holds his nerve during the bartering, his standing can only improve. hxxp://www.sciencedi Just my own views, probably ill formed. 01/11/2013 11:40 | Maxed out at .95 now for today? Let's see. | cinquepercento
01/11/2013 11:06 | seems to be some interest today - traders perhaps or some serious buyers - no more sell notes from CEY which tells we that they will want to protect the not insignificant shareholding. | weegeordie
01/11/2013 09:40 | Yes, Yorgi. .8 at the moment. Let's hope that it continues but I expect it to be quite volatile until the EGM. Presumably, someone knows more than we do about the probably outcome for this company. For example,Centamin must know who this other party of R.C is. | cinquepercento
01/11/2013 09:26 | i think the report is what it is....plenty of warts... and amazed to see this now so perky | moreforus
01/11/2013 09:23 | Quite possibly Cinquepercento. Someone wants them now that's quite clear. | yorgi
01/11/2013 09:21 | dont be supprised if cey are now loading up prior to egm ,getting the shares back for less than they sold them for ,then put in a sneaky bid at 2/3p for the all of nyo | iantc
01/11/2013 09:15 | well this is flying mms seem to be short definately a buyer about.nyo have excellent assets sure we will get some parties interested in taking us out 2-3p not expensive getting very interesting here | mally6
01/11/2013 08:58 | Yorgi and others here on the forum. I welcome your thoughts on the following: Re: the Quarterly Report dated 31/10/13 The report seems to me to be unnecessarily pessimistic and unlikely to inspire any confidence in a positive outcome. Many people reading it will want to sell up. Why this now after all the hard sell? I have seen this done on other penny share companies. My theory is that it is a ploy to push the price down for it to bounce back on a short term positive spike so that presumable someone can buy their their own company shares cheaply and sell for a quick profit when there is miraculous bounce back or recovery spike, however brief. | cinquepercento
01/11/2013 08:11 | that cnirms that 5 mill buy yesterday somethings definitely happening here whos buying in last 2 days big buys showing | mally6
01/11/2013 07:34 | All very interesting, we have moved off the bottom not what will today bring and what we would all like to know what really is CEY's intentions ! | yorgi |
