Looks like dodgy reporting to me... miss-reporting the sale of stock by Centamin

Cinquepercento - No-one has posted, when the price doesn't move speculative posts also drop. 'If' we see a bounce you'll see a flood of posting...

I can not see any posts here since 09.33am 29 October 13. Am I doing something wrong or has nobody posted since then?

i think CEY have pushed the price down but the "market" has also forced the price down to a discount to what is perceived fair value...

i'm glad that CEY called this EGM as it gives RC a deadline to work towards and to hopefully give us some good news (can't see it happening though). At the moment i will not vote against RC - i will give him until 15th.

Although the deal announced was not great i think the fall in the share price is down to games by CEY

Cinque if they gave up or really wanted out they'd get a price for their holding and dump (as has happened on a number of stocks) at any price ....they havent done that - they have worked sell orders and taken their time. So inclined to agree sending a signal....

also if you look at the book someone added a 1 mill buy order at 0.51....

Yes,perhaps Centamin will continue to sell to force the price ever lower in order to force the shareholders to vote out R.C at the E.G.M on 15th November.
The motive is not spite but a big "wake up" call to all the other shareholders that something drastic needs to b done about R.C and his proposal.
Perhaps, Centamin has not given up on NYO and this is intended to be a massive (no confidence) vote in R.C and the proposed deal.
We could interpret this as a massive power struggle between Centamin and R.C .
Can that deal that R.C has set up, be invalidated if Centamin make some some sort of counter offer to the shareholders?
Would Centamin still be confident of getting a licence for T.K. if they got control of NYO?
What did Centamin pay for their NYO shares and how much would they stand to lose if they continue to sell them all? They can afford to take this loss but I doubt if they are in the habit of throwing away money if there is a possibility to save the situation.
Your thoughts on this, please.
Cinquepercento.

well took a little nibble here....

if RC is kicked out win from here

if the asset sale goes ahead win from here

if the asset does not go ahead then could be reoffered at a better price....

moreforus - I suspect the price is being brought down to a level where a bounce will be accepted by the market an CEY can offload more stock. However, for a bounce to be effective the general market must view the risk of the deal not going ahead as minor in comparison to the reward of a short-term price swing.

Quite true Moreforus but for the time being the nervous are being panicked into giving their shares away but not altogether surprising I suppose.

market cap is now 4.8 mill

if the asset being sold is worth 6 then this is now "cheap" from a value perspective - if there are other assets with the caveat subject to newsflow and CEY selling (Although looking at todays volume and lack of holdings rns there is no evidence imho they are today)

If R.C wishes to avoid being voted out at the 15th November A.G.M, surely he will need to come up with something much more definite than what he has offered so far.
Surely only confirmation of approval from Ministry of Mines of the proposed other party would be sufficient.
Even then, I can't help thinking that there would be a lot of heated discussions in the meeting as to why R.C has done this.

Forgive my ignorance but how many of us are actually eligible to vote?
I have been buying my shares from only about a few months ago, online via my stock broker. I have always assumed that I have no voting rights.

I shall be voting with CEY for removal of RC unless something or somebody convinces me otherwise in the meantime.

5% - I suppose that any deal has to be agreed by the shareholders in the end?
If Chase is ejected on the 15th, could CEY just come up with the £350k to pay off the loan & kick the new guys into touch?
