ANYONE CARE TO GUESS WHAT GARTMORE AND THE RESTS HOLDINGS ARE TODAY????

One thing is for sure SELLING has brought the share price down and as sure as eggs are eggs the TIMELY REPORTING of SELLING through each 1% barrier as per the rules, is NOT IMHO being done.

THE RULES ARE CLEAR>>>>>>AND WE HAVE SEEN NXT LAX APPROACH TO THIS IN THE PAST>

GARTMORE BOUGHT RIGHTS AT 13p and were hailed by BULLS as the "proffesionals" who know a bargain when they see it!!

SP Now 10p .......nuff said!!

The investment "logic" of an NXT shareholder!!

"Plenty of reward here against say a 50% stop loss "

So you see they price in a 50% drop because it may go higher dspite NXT twice nearly hitting insolvency, they have stated in the Interims sales much lower than expected and they were not even covering last years overheads!!!

So the total loss could be wipeout!!

Great comedy statement from a bull that deserves to be on the Comedy Show!!

This is a real punt, but have bought a few. Just a hunch.....It must be the heat!

John Sony: Whilst in the main short lifecyles of products is an issue in audio, I think with haptics it is the reason there could be money to be made. If NXT haptics is adopted as a valid solution for mass market phones it is repeat revenue as phones have short lifecycles.

Whatever happens the share price is starting from a low base. Plenty of reward here against say a 50% stop loss which would see the share price touching it's all time lows. I am happy with this and have invested.

runbrian,

The only things around here that are sad are the way this company has been run for a decade and those shareholders who forget the idea is to "invest" for a return not as a never ending ever costly free loan that NEVER gets paid back!!

Even these past few months you may get a tick up for a few days and they all come screaming out the woodwork "so glad I added, so glad I kept the faith" or the classic "topped up my ISA today at 14p 16p 18p aren't I clever"!

ERRRRRR No you aren't clever people.

Your stock has been dilluted time after time.

You NEVER get a dividend.

Your capital return ie the share price is nearly always ending up lower!!

That my friend is, in a nut shell, sad!

All this past week has done is give the big boys the chance to bail and more suckers drawn in and trapped into NXT!

Your correct I find this in my work place currently manufacturing for medical industry. They do avoid change. Any change even like changing a screw size involves lots of red tape and re-approvals. One good point is once approved the product life span will be long. Unfortunately for us investors most NXT applications fall into the consumer electronics products, life being short lived.

The other thread with Lisa ranting away happily to hereself is hilarious, if a little sad. However, it beggars belief that this company is still in business - seemingly no one is interested in paying for the tech.

Both John's I agree absolutely, but progress only seems to come when large business's have decided that there is no steam left in the existing technology. At which point they relent and invest in the production capacity to make the new tech available. I believe Nissha have been doing just that, and the consequent expense has hit their share price hard. A few comments from NXT might help their shareholders, such as projections for manufacturing volumes, and whether products will be available this christmas.

This weeks the banking sector are going to come under yet tigher scrutiny.

One aspect of this later is that they may well pull up the draw bridge of lending to all but the stoutest of companys.

So along to the door comes Peter Thoms CEO of NXT and asks can I borrow a million or 2, Gartmore have done me a referance.....

What do you think will be the reply????

About the same as NXT making a profit in the this years full accounts NIL!!!!!

It is incredible to think that the Vodaphones and Glaxos offer yields of around 5 to 6% a year whilst NXT has offered NOTHING for over a decade!!

Last years "rights" (that supporters had claimed earlier that NXT would not need to raise any more cash) was at 13p and supporters then changed tack having been made to look stupid by saying "Ah well proffesionals like Gartmore know what they are doing"......

Now just how good do those professionals that bought at 13p look now?????

JUST WHAT CHANCE THAT ANY MORE SUCKERS CAN BE FOUND IN THE NEXT ROUND OF "SAVE OUR DIRECTORS PAY AND PERKS" FUND RAISING????

A SHORTERS paradise:

1, Never made a penny profit.

2, Dismal record of broken forcasts

3, when it does have anything decent it has to flog it off for a one off upfront payment to keep the Directors in clover...and forgets to tell the owners of the company that future royaltys will be tiny...if any!

4, Still can't get anywere near enough revenue and just isn't covering its overheads.

5, Once again running out of cash as clearly from their own Interims things just aint going well.

10p will not hold out for much longer IMHO but will seam a damn good price to have sold at in 4 weeks time!.

This is the week were, at long long last, the true state of NXT's accounts will at last get the focus they deserve.

This business looses money hand over fist for its size.

IMHO they will once again look at furthe dillution to aid their continued very nice Director pay and perks.

PI meanwhile continue to feed on bull and still can't get enough of their "in denile" menu.

NXT's own receny Interims shouted WE ARE LOSEING WHAT LITTLE REVENUE WE HAD RE-OCCURING HAND OVER FIST and we still will not be able to anywere near cover costs.

Meanwhile Nintendo, Apple, Microsoft and all others will continue to find and use NON NXT haptic sollutions easily thank you.

Did this ever get into medical application, would serve well in surgical environments?

lefrene,

There are plenty of applications where haptics will not be a fad, particularly where dirt, moisture or acid (e.g. sweat) is a problem or where the user has to concentrate on something else than the screen and needs physical feedback that the key has been pressed successfully. Control pads and games are obvious examples. One day, we may see all the buttons and switches in our cars replaced with a haptic screen.

Yesterday was a NON RNS.

What is a NON RNS?

Simple. One were the company believe it does not have a MATERIAL EFFECT on the company.

So in other words its FLUFF its designed to placate shareholders and bolster the share price ready for the DILLUTION yet again, to come.

Watch those with any sense use this chance to bail out at a higher level but watch the MMs trap them in with a huge spread!

Will haptics keyboards replace existing keyboards saturn5? If you think they will then NXT will benefit, but by how much they benefit is an unknown. If haptics turns out to be a fad, then your money is safer elsewhere. Providing that haptics keyboards are comfortable to use I would expect them to become popular. They will look good though novelty soon wears off, but they should last longer as no crumbs or liquids can foul up the keys, which might make them popular with employers. If haptics replaces conventional keyboards then NXT will finally have its' day, but the track record has been abysmal.

Invest in some 2nd hand England flags and store them for 4 yrs ( or possibly 8) ; they'll be worth more than NXT then.

Oh my god,

EVERYONE knows that NXT get next to nothing from DST and 3M as they signed away any worthwhile royalty income for a larger one off payment over 5 YEARS ago which they squandered years back on exec pay and bonus's.

Note the NON RNS for heavens sake and take the chance to bail out higher than 10p and thank your lucky stars for one last chance!!!!!!

Invest elsewhere. This announcement is no different to any other from the last decade. A couple of devices will eventually come onto the market with this new tech, but subsequent models will quietly drop it. Any royalty income will be very low. Seen it all before. AIMHO.

I have been in NXT since £1.
What does the future hold now ?
I have some spare cash to invest here or elsewhere.
Opinions appreciated. TA

How long before every laptop loses the conventional keyboard and uses haptics? No more spilt coffee or doughnut crumbs mucking up the keys, and a haptics screen is probably cheaper and quicker to manufacture. At last NXT seems to have broken through on a global scale.
