Agree time to pour in,placing finished, overhang,warrents gone. We are about to go "POP" anytime. It's a very sick feeling being out,then trying to scramble to try and get in,with MMs holding you to ransom with buying. Not for me,take up positions.

Just telling you the way I see it, Minty has been talking about marginal fields for a long time, to date nothing has paid off... still no profit. This could rise quickly if an RNS is just around the corner but there is no guarantee. Good news always leaks so the time to buy is when volumes increase significantly before any RNS is released. No news and it's heading one way..

Can you double your money on Nu-Oil and Gas?

We’re all on the lookout for a stock which can return twice as much as we initially invested, aren’t we?

Well, according to technical analyst and the self-proclaimed ‘King of Charts’ Zak Mir, you may not have to look too much further.

Mir thinks that Nu-Oil and Gas PLC (LON:NUOG) might just be the answer, tipping it to test its previous high for the past year of around 0.9p.

Given that Nu-Oil shares currently trade around 0.46p, if a re-test does materialise, investors could be set to double their money.

“[The share price] went from 0.1p to 0.9p and it’s basically held half of that move, which is encouraging. We’ve held above what was previously the resistance in November and December last year which was 0.4p.”

Mir added: “So really, while we’re above 0.4p and the 20-day moving average of 0.39p, we’re looking for a partial or full re-test of the best levels of the year.”



Shares jumped at the beginning of this month after it announced that oil services group Aibel had agreed to run its marginal field portfolio, which Nu-Oil described as a “very significant” step.

Mir said that the North Sea-focused group has “good backing”, both fundamentally - in terms of this event - as well as technically.

In case you were wondering what kind of technical points to look for in these smaller stocks, Mir has some advice: “Try and look for the stronger signals; you’re looking for that ratio of the spike and then how much the retracement comes in.”

Jam and more Jam I am afraid... Newfie will be covered in snow for a few months... the license runs out next year 12th August 2017 so a drilling rig will need to be on its way early next year. It's anyone guess where the shares price is going for the short term. If Minty can pull it off in Newfie then this will fly but massive buts here. Yes joined today...
