22/1/2017 22:01 | Sorry upthepool for not answering but these stocks can't be valued conventionally as no earnings...these stocks have to be valued no. Of shares...deal announced and with demand generated...bear in mind if 600 guys rock up and want 1mill shares each then big problem???even worse if they want 2mill shares each with the aim to ride it from say 0.5p to 1p to topslice to keep 1mill free shares???plus if we have had any actual shorting or guys selling thinking they could get back in sub 0.40p, and are off chasing fitb or the days current pumped stock...well they will have problem getting their stock back as mm's shut down buys to 300k in shares | comedy
22/1/2017 21:54 | Great find CC, I still believe it's North Sea though!! | lyates2010
22/1/2017 21:52 | J2bull Thanks for the recheck on the job vacancies. It depends on what part of the site you go to. I had this response when I checked again:- Marginal Field Development Company doesn’t have any jobs posted right now, but you never know when that can change. However I also see them listed elsewhere on the side. | lyates2010
22/1/2017 21:42 | Upthepool I believe and I am confident that will happen, given the type of and size of projects we are undertaking. Off course the proof will be when its in black and white. I think then we will be attracting a lot more attention. | counting cards
22/1/2017 21:36 | That's the reason for my question, counting cards. We don't know future earnings so mcap predictions are just guesses. What we do know is that there are plenty of irons in the fire, and if they come good the share price will rise, hopefully by multiples of where we are now. | upthepool
22/1/2017 21:30 | Posted on the PVR BB hermana322 Jan '17 - 19:21 - 43980 of 43981 Nowt in Sundays! Will need some news this week to sustain good start to 2017. Even a morsel on marginal Celtic Sea fields would do.... This is from the 19.02.16 Nigel Burton, CEO of NU-Oil, commented: 'MFDevCo and the MFD Consortium's solutions have the potential to improve the commercial viability of fields and we look forward to them being utilised to advance Helvick and Dunmore for the benefit of all interest holders." Helvick The Helvick oil field is located in Block 49/9, some 36 kilometres off the south coast of Ireland. The Helvick discovery well, 49/9-2, was first drilled in 1983 and flowed at a cumulative rate of approximately 9,900 BOPD and 7.5 MMSCFGD. Three appraisal wells were subsequently drilled in the late 1980s to delineate the field. In 2000, Providence drilled the 49/9-6Z well which was tested at rates of approximately 5,200 BOPD. Further detailed analysis indicated that the Helvick reservoir is relatively small in size and, due to this small size and the low oil price at the time, the field was not deemed commercially viable. However, MFDevCo and the Partners now believe that Helvick is potentially commercial using MFDevCo and the MFD Consortium's new low cost development solutions. Dunmore The Dunmore discovery is located approximately 20 kilometres north of the Hook Head discovery in the Celtic Sea. The discovery well, 50/6-1, was drilled by the then Operator, Gulf Oil, in 1985/86 and flowed at a rate of approximately 2,100 BOPD of high quality (44º API) oil. During 2008, Providence drilled the 50/6-4 appraisal well on the Dunmore structure and, whilst the well failed to prove the lateral extent of the hydrocarbon bearing Upper Jurassic sands, a new oil bearing carbonate interval was intersected. | counting cards
22/1/2017 21:25 | upthepool That would depend on future earnings? At the moment up to June 2016 we know that EPS was -0.3p per share. Hopefully this year it will turn positive, and positive PE can be applied. | counting cards
22/1/2017 21:15 | comedy; just to ask again, what pe number are you using to get to your mcap predictions ta | upthepool
22/1/2017 21:03 | Lyates I will have a look mate and get back to you. | counting cards
22/1/2017 20:58 | This share was an adjusted 20p when factoring in dilution 9 years sgo. It could easily be so again given the potentail of medevco. | taxibabe
22/1/2017 20:11 | Lyates the job listings are still on the mfdevco website? That said the positions might all already be filled? Hopefully this will be the week GLA... | j2bull
22/1/2017 19:30 | I expect we will get placings but let's be even more conservative..ie placings/deals not as big as we hope/...the m/cap 10mill is feasible on right news...so that is 4 bagger from current range so 1.6p...that is going to happen if we can nail 1 good deal and herd hit us...look at fitb with over 1bill shares they went from 0.2p to 1p in 6.5 hours with more than the total no. Of shares in issue traded. It's all down to the deals they say they have been working on...this is the time to nail those deals and ride the oil price and ride the up on the current oil cycle | comedy
22/1/2017 19:25 | Please do us all a favour thehitman1 and delete that particular posters post [which is part of your post above] that you c&p as i like many others no doubt have already FILTERED the de-ramping & shorting loser....KOD are up a few 100% since that particular poster started their grave warnings of impending doom and gloom at KOD What an out and out Merchant Banker!
