The thing to remember PI is that this McDevco oil extraction company can get scale very quickly because its not reliant on finding oil, merely extracting whats there. Further, the companies that come to it will want to do business because, better to get something, then nothing. McDevco will get a override or royalty on every barrel of oil produced without finding oil, or risking capital, merely supplying its technology. It follows that it could become the EBAY of oil companies, not producing anything but getting an override on many many fields in the future. That sort of potential is hard to quantify. If you had asked me to value EBAY 20 years ago - i would have gotten it totally wrong. The same applies here.

nice to see you around richcardiff although with a few million shares circa 30p you must be a lot less rich now. I would not count on ABDEL/GHS getting us back to those lofty heights anytime soon as there has been significant dilution since your time. In those heady days I think there were at most 150 mill shares - now 700 mill plus. However, I think you will get some thing back at some stage, especially if you averaged down.
