Cm, ive back nuog heavily for the past 2 and half years, so far nothing on return but for heavily paper loss.
I wouldnt put minty a the same bracket as sir alex, he was top notch and produced year in year out..
Even after sir alex left, it hard to find someone to replace him.

I put minty as some sort of Leeds utd or portmouth manager.. relegation after relegation.. from 1st tier to 2nd tier then 3rd tier..

CM, i see it differently to you.. if nuog was on the verge of getting the first deal across the line then the board would have backed minty to stay a the AGM and the votes would have been overturned..
It turned out that minty had nothing to show for to battle for his CEO position.
I see no deal for a long while.

Personally to myself only and i dont know what others think, this is def worring time both for nuog and LTH.

The board is not going to say negative things such as no deal for years to come?? Are they??

Icac I've been soaking up liquidity for quite some time. During the latest sell off , as low as .58. I can see concerns of placing but I have stated that cash has been refused. It's very much game on. Alan expects the deal imminent. This is your reason for him trying to cling on, this is your reason for Nigel wanting shares . They are very much on the cusp with billion pound m cap companies taking notice. You may feel I am ramping but again and I'll say it again I have best interest of share holders in mind. I've never deramped this share on a agenda as some may say I have. This is very much misrepresented. What I do feel is that some ate going to miss out from these levels. However this is not advice and i am trying to point you in the right direction.CM

As I am, shareholders will be frustrated by delays in concluding project negotiations. However, I am confident that we will be able to announce the first acquisition of a marginal field, along with its development plan, in 2019. As we work to close negotiations for larger marginal field projects, I expect the Company to expand its portfolio by acquiring the smaller, late-life projects I have outlined.

The demand for solutions capable of unlocking marginal fields continues to grow worldwide. Support from governments is driven by the need for energy security, the falling away without replacement of so many projects and the concern that energy resources must be utilised.

I emphasise again, that negotiations to secure marginal field projects of various types are ongoing and, with much of the due diligence completed, potential sources of finance and build facility identified, and the Consortium ready to go, MFDevCo is well placed to start project development once agreement is reached.

I expect activities in Newfoundland to deliver results within the year ahead. While the marginal fields we are advancing will MFDevCo will be the future of the Company, I look forward to finally seeing past efforts deliver value from these legacy assets.

Does it not say in last company announcement that they expect a deal imminent on Newfoundland assets ? Does it not say that mfdevco deals are at an advanced stage ? Whick would enrich nuog as having 50 percent equity owned by nuog any deal would value NUOG at a much higher level,? Why has Nigel Burton increased his share holding ? Why was cash refused at current levels ? Why is Alan trying desperately to convert his debt to equity? Both business men who wouldn't be throwing their cash away. Cash shell you say, it couldn't be further away from the truth but let's not get in the way of a negative poster with an agenda. Because quite frankly why do you post here? CM
