I think that John Holmer is referring to net margins, just reading the last AGM statement he say the following.

"The net margin, whilst showing a significant improvement, is 0.93%, which the board continues to consider an unsatisfactory return."

And now that the legacy contracts are history it is worth noting that the adjusted PBT was £5.912 at the last full year which would equal a net margin of 2.36%. So a target of 5% net margins within 5 years does look realistic.

Largest water division at 53% revenue before the recent large contract with Severn Trent achieved 2.65% net margins last full year.

ok, so on full year results, presuming he is talking of OP? that would make £12.5m add in depreciation gives EBITDA of around £15m no? market cap currently £40m and net cash by then would easily equate IMO to market cap as net cash currently around £11m...so by then business would be in for "free"? DYOR and I am sure my maths is wrong, maybe if he is talking about PAT then you can work it out yourself, either way I'm a big old holder and believe this to be undervalued by many multiples over the medium-term....i.e. his 5 years! I'm not expecting too much from the results given we have already risen on the back of the contract news but like CC2014 it's the long term that matters now.

well said and indeed, but with limited liquidity any little buying should move it sharply as you say...let's hope newsflow adds to the demand.

The buying doesn't really matter. If the results are good it will go up and vice-versa.
I'm happy to hold for another 2-5 years so whilst it's nice to see the buy flow and the price going up it will move next way one way or another. Upwards we hope!

The market is so thin on this stock. Not surprising at 70%+ are held by the family and Mr Chorlton.

One buy of 180 shares at 12:45:36 and at 12:45:41 the MM's move the bid up by 5p!

No worries about the news, it would be nice if it does turn out to be a substantial award, hopefully we shouldn't have too long to wait.

Encouraging price action today and like CC2014 said it's positve that little sells kicked in when the bid hit £4.

assume another delayed buy trade coming through later and more importantly it appears there aren't any pre-loaded limit sell order at 400. Yehhhaaaa

Nice buy this morning. I would imagine it won't take much to move the MM's after that.

Once the contracts are formally awarded any RNS would depend on how much of £1bn pie we have been given. Anything over £30m would possibly warrant an RNS?
