24/11/2017 08:53 | that's funny actually | mr.oz
24/11/2017 08:48 | As most drill sites are plain and barren BP will, for a fee, plant and maintain a vast array of shrubs and evergreens to make the site aesthetically pleasing and give the workers a more palatable working environment | 1bluehorseshoe
24/11/2017 08:34 | Exactly chipper, in the most basic terms it's a bet against the future price of oil.NTOG will get a fixed price which gives them piece of mind for cash flow. BP will be looking for the market price of oil to stay above that line so they profit. They will also receive a fee from NTOG for the facility. But no margin calls. | soupdragon55
24/11/2017 08:31 | That isn't quite right in our circumstance though, is it? Our hedge, not BPs... Topicel | topicel
24/11/2017 08:30 | Thanks blue, Neither BP or Ntog are fuel consuming companies though?? Not sure how it works? Are BP guaranteeing a set price per barrel and taking any profit over that set price, thus limiting ntog's exposure to a fall in price which helps them to secure funding | 5chipper
24/11/2017 06:57 | Can anyone explain how the BP hedging facility will work? And what do BP get out of it? | 5chipper
23/11/2017 18:09 | A little innocuous paragraph taken from today’s RNS, statement from the CEO “In addition to this well, Nostra Terra has numerous proven undeveloped drilling locations already leased in the same area. We'll seek to grow production and reserves significantly both in the Permian Basin, and other areas of our portfolio." Something coming from Egypt methinks. | 1bluehorseshoe
23/11/2017 17:10 | Perfect storm brewing here for NTOg shareholders. Excellent future prospects, without wanting to sound rampish. In 12 months time, we could easily be sat at 20p. Still with a pretty small mkt cap of £23 million or so. | blueshoes7
23/11/2017 17:06 | Thanks Mally6, a good listen! Matt is often upbeat but even he's super-excited about the future here with growth in production, revenues and margins all allied together as he stated at the end being almost unique among AIM plays. Brilliant to hear 24 wells lined up for drilling with half previous successful targets in the past so likely to be winners with the new methods. At the low cost the return on investment is ludicrous at a paltry $4m m/cap. Held up well today above 3p and as 1bluehorseshoe has posted the bullish signals are supporting the company news with chart support. Can't wait for the next RNS... :) Topicel | topicel

23/11/2017 15:45 | Not far to go now 92p average lol:( | c3jns
23/11/2017 12:35 | Well, yes and no 1blue as I never quite trust gaps on AIM. After a good RNS shares are invariably marked up and we could describe almost every opening above the previous day's close as "a gap"... Personally I think profit taking is as much to blame and the MMs know that taking it red today will kill the buys and encourage the sells as they obviously have a fill order of significance. I don't think the warrants are activated until five consecutive days over 3p, is that right? As many have said at LSE the platform for the next RNS is sound and that is what is really good here. Not to say an afternoon delight isn't welcomed too! Lol. Topicel | topicel
23/11/2017 12:09 | Opening gap getting filled by the looks of it, better now than later | 1bluehorseshoe
23/11/2017 09:49 | its getting stronger ... dont miss the train | andrzejs1
23/11/2017 09:47 | I doubt it ! JOEMILLION (NTOG) 23 Nov '17 - 08:21 Sold on the news first thing and will buy back later sub 2.5p. | chinese investor
23/11/2017 09:43 | Dabs, if/when Egypt can get production moving it should get there but the way oil is moving and our other projects I’d like to think it’s achievable. Hard not to ramp but the ducks are all getting lined up. Good luck to you | 1bluehorseshoe
23/11/2017 09:36 | Probably a very daft question, but do you think that NTOG will ever have the legs to get to 32p..... I've been here a long time, bought in at 1.77p in 2009.... Saved a lot of money to average down over the years and the consolidation took my average to 32p. I have always believed in NTOG, that's why I invested in the first place.... A profit at the end of the day would be nice for all us LTSH that are in the same position. | dabs1969
23/11/2017 09:22 | I also find it interesting that we’re not even fracking yet, just conventional. | 1bluehorseshoe
23/11/2017 08:41 | Feeling lucky indeed 1bluehorseshoe as this was all about a timely result as well as a successful one. That gives investors a feeling that further good news is most likely in this area... I expect follow-up announcements within days of payloads and next targets bringing further expansion and improved barrels per day and more than explaining the astonishing trust by BP in giving little old NTOG a $25m hedging facility to use and act fast with. Shot through 3p as forecast. The herd are late on this compared with the surge a month ago...will they appear later today? In many ways I hope not as the value here doesn't need artificial stimulus by rampant traders IMHO. Almost like 2009/10 again with the volatility here and we know the market cap since oil has risen 50% since the summer is woefully low. Still some old time shorters hanging on though I see, squeeze them and 3.5p is likely soon. Topicel | topicel |
