Pine mills could be the making of ntog though. How much did exon pay today for a site near...near in USA terms? 6 billion??? Ntog has a mkt cap of what?? Nothing much and plenty of cash in the bank. The assets are valued at very little. A couple of oil stocks have increased 5 fold to 10 fold in the last few weeks as oil prices have held over 50 dollars. Some are saying this will soar to 25 pence on this breakout. It might...others are doing that percentage. Partly all these oilers are bombed out and the valuation is nothing, partly good old speculation can fuel a rocket for a while. Remember the dot com bubble??? Some stocks went up 60 80 100 fold before the music stopped.

Nostra Terra PLC (LON:NTOG) rocketed 75% to 3.58p.

There was no official news but US giant Exxon Mobil today upped its stake in the onshore Permian Basin in the US.

This is an area where Aim -listed minnow Nostra has also just bought acreage (at Pine Mills in Texas), though Exxon splurged US$6bn so how comparable it is must be open to debate.

A good report it shows the upside here, current Cue Resources of pine mills is 373,000 bbl so around $18m give or take.

What a day! Sucked out all the loose stock between 1.8-2.2p and bam trades up into a vacuum. These oil & gas stock can really move of such a low base. Remember only 94m shares in issue.

#NTOG : some stock coming out at 2.07p, always more than you think. Lovely I'm happy to buy it! Onwards and upwards; winning the battle ?

I think NTOG will continue to move up from this low base; plenty of bashing by disillusioned past shareholders won't hold it down. Mkt cap only £2m. Stock can double to 4p easily imo.
