Indeed, it appears that way. I guess you have to ask yourself why would someone do that?

It is clearly not in anyone's interest to buy and sell at a £3k loss over three days so either it was a big gambler with a T3 trade or, more likely, the MMs manipulating the book with their own smoke and mirrors.

They do it all the time to stimulate things, and the fact Beaufort were caught out is unlikely to stop it.

In case you hadn't noticed there is an OPEC discussion ongoing about increasing the oil production to compensate for Iran and Venezuela and all oilers are under share price pressure.

Even NTOG! It is always the uncertainty that creates the opportunity in the wider oil price markets and little tiddlers. Investors need clarity from OPEC on the course they are on now and then the price will stabilise.

For us, Matt needs to do similar and show what he intends to do next with setting up a target drill date for his next 'drill-ready' permitted licence and announce more permits have been chosen and requested...

Meanwhile, cash flow very positive and $250k a month revenue flowing through our coffers and annual financial report for wider investor reading in perhaps a fortnight.

The old adage is always true gentlemen...it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

This and many other shares are scrabbling about for PI money and what little investment manager funds that do play AIM. That was the purpose of the RNS Tuesday and the conference call Wednesday evening - to attract money.

There is some collecting of shares going on as the price action indicates it, but whether that is likely to transform into an appreciation in our valuation sooner or later is, as we all know deep down, anyone's guess!

All the company can do is work hard, as Matt says, get the message out there that we are producing significant cash and growing the chances of even more cash generation and wait for the penny to drop in the market.

It certainly isn't over valued! Nor, according to others like marmar80, are other outfits. Value is a very personal thing and we all want to buy something as cheap as we can and sell - if we are going to - for as much as we can get.

There are no dividends here. It is simply a bet that the progress will re-rate the valuation of NTOG and lead to more holders looking forward to sharing in the cash generation story.

And that can lead to dividends...

Buy cheap is what is on offer and why some HNWI's have been taking up £40k-worth of shares at a time since the net revenue figures were announced on Tuesday. Another new dawn, probably with the sun rising after the Bank Holiday.

We'll have that 6p here and new highs soon enough imho.

Someone has a huge order being filled. You can literally sell millions at 4.16 but you can't buy below the offer. Watch out for massive delayed purchase being printed.

I see that if we keep pushing up revenue and not the share price then this will be the first company who's income is greater than it's market cap. Crazzy When most market caps exceed income by a factor of 5 which would give us an share price of about 14p so long way to go yet, O and that's just on present income.

Yes interesting that the offer still stands at 4.50p officially. The 350k & 175k are buys too imo, although listed as sells. Think it is also quite possible HNWI have looked into this company, liked what they read and decided to park a reasonable sum in here for the foreseeable future.

It’s not increased much but at least it’s not falling. When that well went wrong I feared the worst (market overreaction) but my small investment is safe.
I know nothing about NTOG except what I read here so for me it’s a shot in the dark.
Looks a fair bet though from what people are saying.

Well at least we got a nice big buy at the end. Hopefully the financial figures after a few days of sinking in will start to have a positive effect on the share price I'm committed to holding long term and nothing in the latest news has changed that view.
