31/8/2005 09:00 | you will always get local sord fights on rates, how about van purchase power?? GE made a mess of smiths & tls did'nt understand the busines and the management walked away. GE would do the same to northgate and the management are aware of that fact. Good long term, management structure is very fit for the fight. | broster
17/8/2005 10:30 | This is going well and I think should target about £12. Excellent steady progress, continuing to weed out the minnows in a fragmented industry. Had cause to be a customer a couple of times recently and was very impressed. Spain seems to be going well, let's hope they haven't paid too much for the new operation there. I think Steveglobal is mistaken about incentives for businesses to buy their own; there is a continuing pressure for all business (and indeed authorities) to outsource as much as possible and this impetus is independent of the actual level of interest rates, which haven't changed much anyway. Remember that low interest rates benefit Northgate in any case. I will hang on in Regards Hoofhearted | judyelliot
16/8/2005 11:37 | Clearly steveglobal does not have any knowlege of the Northgate mangement. | broster
05/8/2005 18:31 | It is nice to see this hit the £10 mark - good rise today with some large buys | huttonr
12/7/2005 22:04 | Do you know, I wish I'd have more confidence in my own judgement. When they plummeted I thought "this is a buy" but I didn't increase my holding 'cos I thought others know better. TT | tommy ten chins
06/7/2005 10:08 | Times Tempus: fall overdone, good growth prospects in Spain and UK, top-up/buy | t42
05/7/2005 07:57 | Excellent results ... so I guess the price will fall (recent experience). This is a good longterm hold. | tommy ten chins
02/6/2005 10:24 | Steveglobal seems to have lost interest, but his 800 target is now 10% behind the action!!! Still going better and better. Plus points are: 1. Interest rates now look like falling, good for a big borrower like this 2. Virtual monopoly among bigger cos in this vanhire area in UK, rest very fragmented. 3. Also doing v well in Spain, so possibilities of expanding elsewhere in Europe in the future. 4. Good takeover possibilities if one of the financial big boys wants to get into this very safe and growing area. Sky's the limit IMHO Regards Hoofhearted | judyelliot
