Just in case you missed Paul Scott's comment on NXR ...

I'm terribly sorry, but as you might have guessed, I passed out over my keyboard (not literally!), and took a duvet day, which is allowed a maximum of once per month.

I think the Norcros (LON:NXR) results were very good. Underlying EPS is 2.1p, so at a PER OF 9, it is clearly too cheap, in my view.

The pension deficit is fine, and is offset by freeholds.
Vado was a cracking acquisition. Net debt is fine.

I think it's the wrong price. It should be 25-35p.

DYOR as usual.

Regards, Paul. - See more at:

Tiger Blade: at 19p very confident they were buys. The price is the indicator, not whether it is reported as a red or blue trade as these systems just guess whether it was a buy or sell.

Ps Snippet from PS - blog:

Norcros (LON:NXR)
Results for the year ended 31 Mar 2014 have been issued by this bathroom fittings company which I've written about extensively before. It's probably the nearest thing to a value share out there, with a particularly low PER. Most other businesses of this size and type are on a PER in the mid to high teens, whereas this is about 9. That's a clear pricing anomaly in my view.

I'm just going through the figures now, so will update this article over the next couple of hours, therefore please refresh this page later today.

Good results as far as i can see, the reasons why the company is presently cheaply rated are pretty obvious looking at the accounts (debt/pension/overseas interests exceptional costs etc)

I am happy to hold and can see the long term potential if they hit plans (if only life was that easy)

Not a share without risk though - main thing is the core business seems to be a reasonable little niche that should be simple to run and add to with additions benefiting from economies of scale, cross selling blah de blah de blah.

They do need to keep a close eye on the debt levels though.

Some massive 7 figure buys going through showing on L2. Expect this to climb throughout the day.

So is it a muted response because revenue is not as high as predicted?

The % increase is roughly the same but from a restated position ( lower )

Think I've read it right.
