The 4p inferior predictor is back.
Where do you lot get your stuff from :-) ?
They have x amount of cash in the bank ?.. How do you know they haven't put their results out yet ?
They have stopped lending to the flakier end of the market. :-) Home collected credit is the Flakie end !
They stopped lending basically .

I think the market is getting spooked by the ongoing delay to the results.

DLAR has been my most successful day trade since I started investing - in at avg of 52p, out at 149p odd.NSF has the ability to do the same imo.

After a fun couple of days with DLAR it freed up some cash to add again here.

No, delayed from late yesterday.Clearly a buy imo which the mms have been dropping the share price to fill (I was being offered 10.7p for 100k on a dummy sell yesterday afternoon)

Just topped up again! Logically the U.K. will be following the US path savings rate rocketing as little to spend money in lockdown people furloughed. This augurs well and market is cyclical as results are delayed.Given MC and Providents bump on results I expect the same

nice 1m buy - this is obviously why the share price has been driven down - to fill this order

It's all pluses and minuses. The market seems to think these are a busted flush and therefore priced to fail. The fear of delinquencies may be behind this. Against that we have securitisation loan of £200m agreed and collection data to April showing healthy incomings. Against that we have the delays to the results. But they have stopped the lending at more flakier end of the market. The price is either right or Utley wrong!

:)

The management are probably the best and most experienced people in the industry, they have seen these operational challenges many times before and came out on top smelling of roses. The actions the company took at the beginning have been prudent and sensible imo, putting us in a solid position to restart trading (when it happens). It's also worth noting the company now has that huge credit line available which will come in handy when we start lending again. We could see a serious ramp up in lending soon.

As far as I'm aware, Neil Utley personally knows and really rates the BoD's and their ability to churn out profits. He is obviously very bullish and it tells given his substantial investment. Don't think he's looking to influence the company or add to his holdings though.

thanks Grape very helpful. I assume they stopped lending due to risk of bad debt. One of the RNs' stated they are still lending to certain known customers. Which is the right move for sure. So then its within their gift to consider when to restart.

also read about the personnel changes.

Whats your view of the current managements? oh and Neil utley increasing holding.. hes insurance background? is this just a stake, or could he be looking to build a position of influence...?

In the short term there is a lot of other opportunities as well with more news like DLAR and Marstons throwing stellar returns and the hot money is moving there. Not that I like that as it just creates an big spike then it all settled down again but any type of spike would be nice here ......

Sif12, NSFs problem right now is uncertainty. The market doesn't accurately know what shape the company is in and as we all know, the market hates uncertainty, thus the paltry shareprice.

Im pretty certain the FY results will not show anything unexpected/bad. However it's the 'outlook' that we all really want to see. Have the company restarted loaning money? How have collections gone since the last update? What's the guidance for the new financial year? When will the div be restored and will it start again from where we left off, ie 3p? Once these questions are answered, and the market has clarity, then we will see the shareprice move back again to a more fair valuation imo.

itsnotme.. but my point is that what in the results may provide an uplift to the share price if current trading is down- albeit out of their hands?

hi all.. Ive read through the RNS' and so my understanding is that 2019 results will be ahead of 2018, but trading since March is down as theyve suspended most lending. theyve got cash at bank and a lending facility available so seccure and ready to lend again.

therefore, Id expect results which are inline with what youd expect as a result of COVID 19.. but am I missing something? are you expecting better results for 2020?
