Amigo loans are facing big problems (personally I'm not sure they will survive), bode's well for NSF, more good news.

#NSF; recovering from 161.8% extension of the drop from 51.4p with strengthening sentiment & momentum. Levels in play 28.5p & 36.3p. If it pushes above there, then clear run to the breakdown area itself at 51.4p incl a very thin zone from 43p where price could move quite fast.hTTps://mobile.twitter.com/AntMwah/status/1221501660276711430

News on the new debt facility expected soon. From the trading update:Update on new debt facility. The Group is continuing to make good progress on finalising a new GBP150-200m, six-year securitisation facility to help fund future loan book growth. We have signed an agreed term sheet and expect to complete the final documentation SHORTLY. It is expected that the terms of the facility will provide a meaningful reduction in funding costs versus the Group's existing long-term funding arrangements that mature in 2023. A further announcement will be made in due course.

Healthy pull back in my view which clears the way for the next move higher.

I’ve added a few on this pull back. I do wonder if there’s more at play with reeds to Neils accumulation...

Pause for breath here but I have just added (PPS) at a nice 20% retrace, as it entered my buy zone.

I expect these to test 35p this month, if all goes well GLA

Trading on 2x TNAV (just over 0.5x NAV given large good will for acqs) for an RoE heading into high 20's at least. A cons PER for the current year of 5.5x and yield of 10% seems churlish for the forecast earnings growth.Even after the rise since the trading statement and CMD, the shares appear cheap.

Not at all. But people continue to borrow at high rates. Pay three times the odds for the latest tv pawn their goods. Where there is a will there’s a sucker.

I think you comment supports my contention rather than the reverse.

PPI was unsellable so the banks deliberately mis-sold it to people who were too naive to realise thehy were being conned. The banks have not gained from that because they have had to compensate the people they ripped off. Are you offering that as an example of successful selling of insurance?

Tell that to the banks who are paying back PPI. The majority of people don’t understand how money works.

I'd imagine that people who are so financially constrained that they have to turn to debt providers like NSF are unlikely to be great customers for insurance companies.

Here is a route Mr Utley will take; use the extensive client base to sell insurance products.

There's one question answered. I expect Basswood will be wanting more than 3% of this pie.

Basswood crossed the 3% threshold on 14th Jan. Neil Utley crossed the 4% threshold on 15th Jan. Since then about 65 million shares (about 20%) have changed hands including 30 million on the day of the trading update. Perhaps the buyers are still accumulating and will notify once they've finished. Sure we will find out soon anyway.
