Nick if you are still around I just stumbled on some later research.

Liberum also have produced a recent note 11.12 which currently indicates a 47p target price.

You are welcome Nick and good luck with your picks. My tactic here is to Pyramid into the rise. I will take x amount of shares every addition 3p rise from here. That way, just in case something unforeseen happens (earthquake in Japan), then the risk is mitigated to some degree.

Had already doubled then tripled my original stake. In response to Alchemy's move I've just doubled up the whole thing which takes me to my standard allocation size.

Don't understand the sector well enough to consider exceeding my default.

Yes cheers Galaxy Enforcer, I can see them and they look ok, but the website disclaimer suggests they were forecasts made during the period 2nd August 2018 to 5th October 2018.

Anyway, today looks ok so far for holders.Well done, hope it keeps up.

Interesting exchanges today. There is a big block reported of about 79m shares, that tallies with Invesco so it might be that well known overhang that has been cleared.

Traded this one succesfully as short term play a short while back (posts are on here). As previously stated, we know it's a dog, but a tradable one. Starting to look interesting again with the chart turning up, not only because of a potential overhang cleared but also the Alchemy move.

Unsure if they will table a bid, but the initial stake building chunk they took was up at about 40p so it would have to be that level.

cheers Galaxy Enforcer I've taken a look but it says this on the website before presenting the figures.

"The consensus has been collated from estimates submitted by analysts to Non-Standard Finance plc (‘NSF’ or the ‘Company’;), during the period 2nd August 2018 to 5th October 2018."

It sounds out of date, though the excel document dates the forecasts as 11th Dec 2019??

I wish everyone here every success but these confusing statements are annoying for me.

Mentioned on Friday that I’d taken a few #NSF which had fallen (-50%) in the month. Interesting to see Alchemy have just increased their holding to 29.95% ... max level before required to table a bid👇🏻;

Hello Nick you can find this on the NSF website. Just noticed the second TR1 with Alchemy picking up over 10% of the stock.

This is the statement on the dividend.

"The Group maintains a progressive dividend policy and has previously outlined a medium-term objective of a pay-out ratio of approximately 50% of normalised earnings, before exceptional items. In order to take account of the impact of the expected change to provisions in 2019, it is expected that the pay-out ratio will be above 50% in the current year. By way of guidance and subject to the performance of the Group over the remainder of 2019, the Board expects that the total dividend per share for the year ending 31 December 2019 will be approximately 3.0p (2018: 2.6p)."

Any earnings forecast for year end 2020? Cheers NR

Some people happy to book their 1.5p profit. The real recovery back towards the 40s should now begin. Yes I will be adding on the way up for the gains and the dividend.

The spike in volume and associated rise today would be an indicator that the sell has been cleared and now the stock will presumably rise to a more realistic level.

Well a good day all in all. Consolidation around the 19p level on a bad market day cannot be sniffed at and shows the current interest in the stock at this level. Did some research on NFX today and will be buying in tomorrow as very oversold.

Am adding here as funds become available as the potential for return on capital and dividend makes this stock one not to be overlooked.

Having just read another post on a different board I felt compelled to share that the dividend here is currently is excess of 13% and was confirmed in the TS that there would not be any change.

That makes it a huge buy signal to value investors. I may be inclined to add to my stash tomorrow.

Well, honestly, no point for you to hang around here then. People will see value however the seller needs to be clear before this heads back to the 40s

It may be cheap and rebound from here if you want to trade it. I don't buy things I'm not prepared to hold for 5 or 10 years (i.e. quality businesses). This may rebound strongly in the short term, but it will probably eventually go bust through its awful balance sheet. As such, it's on my bargepole list.

Another reason as to why this has now become a good buy at current price;

Valuation: Our absolute approaches now indicate a range of 79p-85p. On the current price, the 2020 prospective P/E is 4.4x for a business whose impairment provisioning already reflects a significant downside scenario. The yield is now double-digit.

LOL Galaxy Enforcer. This is a very poor quality business. The fact that it attracted Woody at £1 tells you something given the share price is well on the way to the 90% club! They couldn't even pay legal dividends. It should have been financed by equity and not swathes of debt.
