12/3/2020 13:22 | 25th March I believe | battlebus2
12/3/2020 09:25 | Nice to see, even if at the bottom of the list and not even in upper case. Would be very prestigious if we win. Any idea when the winners are announced? | eclair
11/3/2020 15:42 | Shortlisted for the construction news awards sub 500 million category | battlebus2
12/2/2020 23:23 | Framework deal with Yorkshire Water | battlebus2
12/2/2020 15:49 | Profit margins are terrible 1.53%, no wonder the price is dropping. They are turning over more money to make less profit, busy fools. | jwball
05/2/2020 13:56 | Getting a bit frustrated here. The sooner this share gets up to a market cap of £100m and more people are looking at it to scoop up shares when it falls the better. Usual pattern I guess of drift down between information flow then a sizeable move up. | cc2014
22/1/2020 18:50 | Just a lull with bored sellers knocking the stock. Results usually at the end of March. | battlebus2
22/1/2020 12:56 | NO update for 3 months is not great IR in my view. Frustrated in many ways with NMCN, but still see it has a great opportunity to deliver material value if it manages it correctly.....DYOR | qs99
22/12/2019 12:04 | Will there be a trading update? Progress seems to be in line with the research note as adjusted by the comments at the interims of expected turnover of £356m and margins slightly exceeding 2 per cent giving you the fully adjusted PBT of £7.4m as in the note. | kinwah
19/12/2019 11:54 | Time for a rant. Please excuse me. Turnover for 2018 £340m. Estimated for 2019 £347m. Estimated 2020 £362m Assume NMCN don't get one eight of work under YorCivils but only get one sixteenth. (not sure why I assuming that but let's be cautious) = additional £31m turnover. So, that busts the forecasts just based on this one framework never mind the rest they've won. And yet the share price does nothing. Indeed we see some small selling... so, I will wait (which was what I was going to do anyway). Market cap current £60m. At some point it's going to get to £100m at which point some analyst is going to wake up and re-rate it. I'm happy to be patient despite my short term rant. GLA | cc2014
18/12/2019 07:53 | Another contract win: One of 8 on a £2b framework over 4 years = £62m each for each contract every year. That's about 20% of their turnover. How wonderful | cc2014
12/12/2019 09:44 | Well having not done a trading update mid Oct (as they did last year) I am now expecting a pre-close trading update at the end of January (They did one 25 Jan 2018)..... Otherwise FY results due at the end of March..... Slightly frustrating the lack of updates but remain very confident in the continued turnaround.... | jaf111
11/12/2019 11:31 | When’s the next results/trading update? Anyone know? | deanowls
11/12/2019 08:52 | They just keep coming | cc2014
25/11/2019 10:48 | One would hope that someone buying £30k of stock at 630p has a good reason | cc2014
22/11/2019 17:05 | Great company. Simples | battlebus2
22/11/2019 13:32 | 600p on the bid for 5 hours so looking good. Buys still coming at 630p. How wonderful | cc2014
21/11/2019 15:23 | lovely looking chart | qs99
21/11/2019 13:19 | Hmm. Creeping up on no volume for no apparent reason. I assume there is a buyer in the background we haven't seen yet. | cc2014
19/11/2019 13:57 | inching up.... | qs99
15/11/2019 15:04 | Looking at this slightly closer, it wont' IMO take too much buying to get this through £7....fingers xd for a trading update in Nov. | qs99
15/11/2019 14:54 | CC2014, I agree, next govt (hopefully not a Marxist bunch of nuts) will have to invest into infrastructure as Osborne cut too heavily in 2010 onwards, long overdue and think Sajid understands that, esp. with ultra low interest rates. Should benefit NMCN. likewise the new housing unit, should, if a conservative majority, see renewed confidence to spend .....let's see... DYOR! Good weekend mate | qs99
13/11/2019 09:35 | I dunno. But what I do know is they have picked up loads of long term frameworks in the last year, which I've tried to identify and post to this Board. So, regardless of the weak construction data it has to be guaranteed turnover will rise next year. I'm assuming the buyers that are now coming in are "staff/insiders" who can see the orders now arriving for these frameworks. NMCN have made comments this year about the timing of the new AMP frameworks and the normal slow start to these frameworks in terms of physical work. I assume this is because at the start of the 5 year framework although there is lots of work it has to go through design stage first and whilst some of this can be done anytime, if you are working closely with the supply chain as for example Severn Trent do, to do this well you really need to know who has been appointed to the frameworks. Oh - new Conservative government - loads of infrastructure work, new Labour government - new infrastructure work doubles from current position (who is going to do it), new Lib Dem government = revoke A50 and all those projects which have been delayed through uncertainty will kick off. Hung parliament = a mish mash of the above. Not ideal but at least more construction work than where we are now. | cc2014
13/11/2019 08:56 | anyone thinking we may get a trading update ahead of NY? | qs99 |
