If you have credit £1/2 grand or more, CMC I recommend, IG too. You can lay a short.

Why suffer being long, when you can easily short a share (Uk I guess), so FT100 (250), they will cover your bets.

Go in £1per point, short, see how it goes, stop at £10 win or lose, see how it feels for you.

Check and follow markets. Rather simple in a crisis.

Turvart, your bond maybe Guaranteed, most are not. My wife has lost 13% on hers.

Going short has nothing to do with Bonds. FT100, DJ, HS33 etc.. totally different scenario.

Check your bond right now (-13-15%) down?

Then check shorts CMC & IG against above indices, past week? +£920K?

Whose the winner?

Bonds, safe as houses until the house goes bust!

You don't need to short the markets if you fully understand how bonds works! I can't short the market as I'm making my pension fund grow!

To be fair, wife bond down 13/15%ish. HSBC.

Learn to go short, works a treat. Just forget the damage? CMC & IG makes loads against losing Longs, they welcome shorts for a share of the goods.

As referred to in the "Statement regarding major shareholdings" announcement issued by the Company on 10 February 2020 (RNS Number: 4572C), Dr B. R. Shetty had held 4,800,000 Ordinary Shares in a Falcon Private Bank nominee account in the name of Dr B. R. Shetty. As set out in that announcement, Falcon Private Bank informed Dr B. R. Shetty on 5 February 2020 that it was transferring these Ordinary Shares to First Abu Dhabi Bank, at the instruction of First Abu Dhabi Bank.
Dr B. R. Shetty has received information from First Abu Dhabi Bank which indicates that 2,534,479 Ordinary Shares were sold by First Abu Dhabi Bank from this holding of 4,800,000 Ordinary Shares.
Dr B. R. Shetty and his advisers are investigating the details and legal basis of these transactions and the status of the Ordinary Shares remaining in the custody account as part of the ongoing legal review. However, in the light of the information received from First Abu Dhabi Bank, advisers to Dr B. R. Shetty have submitted PDMR notifications to the Company in respect of these sales of Ordinary Shares.
