From RNS dated 1st November ...

In order to comply with the terms of the Company's arrangement with its commercial lender, Commonwealth Bank of Australia ("CBA"), on 31 October 2016 the Company signed an amendment with CBA, regarding project milestones, included in the 4(th) Amendment to the credit agreement which required water flood injection to commence by 31 October 2016 as well as initial well response by that date. The further amendment extends the water flood injection date to 15 November 2016 and initial well response to 30 November 2016. The Company anticipates meeting both these amended threshold dates.
Rick McCullough, Chairman of Nighthawk, commented:
"The MIT testing that was not passed on the two injector wells only related to the wells holding pressure and is, from a technical standpoint, relatively easy to fix but does require the time to re-enter the well. Our operations team immediately began workover efforts following the test results and we are confident we will have the Pilot Project up and running within two weeks. This delay will not have a significant impact on either the revenues or volumes produced from the project."

I've given myself an hour to think about this but I have to say I'm again disappointed and now growingly concerned.
I'm about to post the subject that is worrying me (this will be for discussion so please don't shoot me down )- one moment to cut and paste.

I can confirm, 6 wells were non producing for Oct, Nov & prob Dec.

Hopefully it will be different tale from Jan 2017!!

If the workover is complete on Blackcomb 5-14 and injection is up and running we should see a steady rise in BOPD from the waterflood area...possible that B 5-14 does not need to be completed prior to commencement of waterflood!

They have sorted a rig out for the up hole on Monarch...so no dragging feet there, they want to get it completed asap.

I had warned previously a dip in BOPD as work is underway, we are seeing that now in "old" figures.

i suggested an open of 1.49...seems like 1.46p but are there more buyers???

2017 should well be a much improved production year fro Hawk imo...DYOR etc!!!

From here, the company is very well positioned

RNS's will now surprise on the upside and perfectly timed into a rising POO environment

This is the time of the cycle to own oil stocks .. especially bombed out ones with a clear plan to ramp up production without drilling risk

First milestone is 3p on the back of this phase in recovery with a push on from there following some consolidation

Higher sights into 5/6's are likely Q2, as the doors will open to a redetermination of reserves which in turn open new finance opportunities

Multibag from here IMO with little downside risk ... just how I like them :)

As we knew, the 2nd well was approved on 29th.
They are not giving too much away but I guess we'll receive a second RNS in January with flow rates - if they decide to up production in Jan.
You get the feeling that there is a lot going on behind the scenes here.

Well it has been approved now we wait to see how much of a difference this will make to production.
