I think it's pure speculation at the moment Phil as the share price may pop over 4p on a positive update.
Please think longer term though - remember the 14p days ? - there is no reason why that cannot be reached again with a rising oil price.

Each to his own but I have added this morning.
It's been a horrible past 2 years but I believe that the Owners have invested far too much here to let this fail. From memory I also think that Johan Claesson has around 160 million shares and Peter Gyllenhammer around 100 million shares.
They have always seen huge potential in Hawk and have backed it financially.

The oil sector may well be the place to be in 2017 and 2018.

Many investors will be worn down and will be looking for a chance to get out, but often we do the opposite to what we should do.
Anyone picking up a few hundred thousand shares here now has a great risk reward potential.
I've built and held my stake for this long and through so much, that I will now definitely hold through 2017.

So much is now heading in the right direction.
More by luck than judgement we will hopefully see a significant increase in output (2000+ bopd) just at the time when oil prices are rising and may continue to rise in 2017.
The owners are very committed to the growth and success of Hawk.
With increased output and a rising oil price everything falls into place - reserves and borrowing facility increase.
In addition to WF, it looks as though conventional output at some wells has also been capped during the oil price slump. This made sense.
We could well see a significant ramp up in production in the spring.
Hoping 2017 can be a very good turnaround year - with or without Rick and Chuck.
The owners wont accept failure here.

I have been watching the trading for the past week and take encouragement there has been no big sell off and quite a few decent sized buys.Let's see if we get a Friday rise ahead of next week.Take your positions folks in or out!!!

Reallyrich I agree they shouldn't state these things in the rns.I do think it will be worth the wait, I wrote this one off years ago so if it does make the big turn around in 2017 bring it on.Be lucky to all.

They are at the 'last chance saloon' though with the Owners.

Chesty your missing the point. I dont have much in this share ao for me ita not a big deal. , but i am sick and tired of rns statements that are not kept. Go back and read rhem looks at rhe staements about financing and other situations and now water flood. He should not make these statments as it is very misleading. The waterflood test and approval is already almost one month late from when he said it would.be approved.

If Management don't get this right they will be replaced.
The owners have raised $3m for WF, on top of the $10m for Rick's JV with Cascade.
One the one hand I think that Rick has been a disaster and has little if any concern for small independent shareholders. On the other hand we are still in business and have come through a difficult time for the industry. I think that its due to the continuing support of the owners that we are still standing.
The last drill campaign was also a disaster despite Chuck's RNS's stating his confidence at every drill.
The two of them have lost all credibility and I hope that they can be replaced.
Hawk however will do well and will improve their financing arrangements during 2017 as cash flow and reserves increase. Don't forget shale either. The new USA government are very pro a self sufficient USA energy industry.
Many here have been ground down during Rick's time - including me. However I cannot help but feel that the share price will be between 4p and 8p in one years time.

Its a chance to buy.
When WF is confirmed to be operational and production increases, the share price will rise sharply.
A few here seem to be desperate to sell !
2017 is the 'turning of the corner'. Its a time to add.

Well a few chunky buys coming in again today.I still feel the next rns is going to send this flying but being long I would think/hope that.Be lucky to all
