11/4/2024 14:46 | if it holds today and tomorrow, then 280bps has to be the next stop | tapa7
11/4/2024 14:40 | H+S formation, first port of call £4? | tsmith2
11/4/2024 14:18 | Is this the first time we cross above 220bps since Aug2023? | tapa7
11/4/2024 14:16 | can move quickly .... come on man ! someone's having a wee nibble | gadgie2
11/4/2024 13:59 | It is so infrequent that a company pays off debt even when they have the cash because they like to save it for a rainy day or for acquisitions. Even Apple has the ability to pay off their debt but I believe they still carry debt. Also, is it possible that they could sell their steak in VDAA? They invested $25 million. Can you imagine if that fetched 50 or 75 million considering the tremendous growth? Not saying they should sell the investment but if they go public it could add a lot of equity to their balance sheet. Seems like something is in the works and we are finally having the potential for a much deserved break out. And the buybacks have not even started yet. The new $50 million round. All we need is one beat in a quarter and even even a slight guidance raise and this will show the market confidence that the company is moving in the right direction. I imagine Ofer Has learned his lesson to under promising overdeliver. Let’s hope | jeffblume
11/4/2024 13:33 | should have clearance shortly on the $50 million buy back starting 1st May ...let's hope it aggressive and no doubt more new's prior ....come on man !!! | gadgie2
11/4/2024 13:25 | We just got the final numbers for VIDAA for Q1 and they are stellar! It’s been a quarter of extreme growth, especially on the consumption side. You have seen that we broke the 27 million connected devices mark, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Even more impressive are usage numbers. For the fist time our users spent more than 6 billion hours streaming on our platform. And our customers achieved that by launching their favorite streaming apps more than 6 billion times. Now how does that compare to the past? In just one year, the total time spent streaming on our platform increased by 128% and the average time people spent streaming content on our TVs in the last year increased by 58% YoY if you compare the first quarters. As I’ve said before, 2024 and 2025 will be the years streaming becomes a truly global phenomenon and we’re ready to be a key player in making it happen. | gadgie2
11/4/2024 13:07 | £100k sell just minutes ago. There's a big seller still out there. The price will drift until they have cleared. | wheeze
11/4/2024 13:02 | Agreed Tractorhead. It is mind blowing to say the least. It is difficult to see a scenario where the CEO would pay down a senior note which I believe will no longer be available to him now that it’s paid off unless he felt very confident in his business model and cash flow. They have still cash and the revolving line of credit. But if the company was not doing well I do not believe they would want to pay off that debt right away just in case they need it. I believe the company was needing the bank to be able to sign off on it and now they did. I believe they just changed the rules in Israel that you needed some type of approval by some Israeli department but now it’s up to the bank I believe so if they should be free to purchase the shares. Can you imagine the pop and share price if they just started buying directly on the Open market $5 million worth of shares only 10% of their buyback amount in one day. | jeffblume
11/4/2024 12:50 | My goodness, when volume is low... it can be really low. I guess the company brokers have not started their purchasing yet today. A bit frustrating that there seems to be so little free float and yet even with buybacks... shareprice is stuck. Perhaps now that that Tosca has sold what they wanted to sell (hopefully) things might get moving a bit? Does not make sense that the company goes on and on buying shares and there ALWAYS seems to be a seller at a low price. Mind boggles. | tractorhead
11/4/2024 09:48 | Agreed buddy also there will definitely be some big buy outs this year ... perion now fully focused on CTV etc ... Amobee acquisition will pay off ... over a billion was invested in Amobee before we purchased | gadgie2
11/4/2024 09:36 | The thing is - Ofer made an awful lot of bad misses on the bounce…and the market did not like it. The business needs to show a nice surprise to the up and the share price will run away imo. That now looks nailed on. | barkbooo
10/4/2024 23:00 | Perhaps the paying off of debt is part of a condition to be bought out? I love the fact they are debt free and so confident with their business plan that they are spending another 50 mil on buybacks. Hopefully the market holds up ok. | jeffblume
10/4/2024 13:44 | CPI above expectations, fed swaps no longer believe the FED will cut the rates in June. Russel -3%. Let's hope this small cap goes against the tide and avoids the blood bath we will see today. | tapa7
10/4/2024 13:29 | Right, so to clarify: As of March 4th (post LG settlement) the company said publicly that it had $146m net cash ($246m cash - $90m loan facility - $10m drawn credit facility) Now that they paid the loan and the $10m in the credit facility, they should have $146m in cash at least. This does not assume: 1. What was spent in buybacks since March 4th (these will eat cash) 2. Cashflow generated since March 4th (this will add cash) 3. Alphonso payouts (this will add cash) Even after these assumptions, we are in very good shape financially. | tapa7
10/4/2024 13:23 | Sikhthetech - any views on Alphonso or the settlement? lol Most on here are not keen on Ofer - myself included..but he plays hardball and is one of the best negotiators in the business. I have a feeling we will be drip fed info over the coming months. Looking good! | barkbooo
10/4/2024 12:54 | Tapa, You say $134 Million in cash. Is it $134 Million. Debt paid off, more share buy backs and we "Still do not know what the LG settlement was" Could be $150 Million, $175 Million, $200 Million. One thing I think is cast iron certain, Ofer need not pay down debt if there wasn't a game plan and coffers were swelling. NEXN = STRONG BUY | whites123
10/4/2024 11:38 | I wonder why Ofer paid off debt? Once again, it seems like a no brainer here. If Ofer knew there were issues with cash flow he would not pay off debt. Yet we have been hopeful in the past, only to be let down over and over again. I do not believe the PR mentioned remaining cash. Maybe the company really did get a big cash payday from LG? One slightly beat with slightly better guidance and the stock should be free to move. Plus the buybacks coming. With a fully focused marketing team, VDAA cranking, LG deal, US big election, summer Olympics, and maybe lower rates this could be our year. Very cautiously optimistic | jeffblume
10/4/2024 11:34 | OH and $134m in cash. Take that off our valuation and the market is paying $240m for a business doing $100m ebitda, $340m sales and growing. can someone tag Warren Buffet or wake up Benjamin Franklin? | tapa7
10/4/2024 11:27 | So now we trade at 3.7 forward EBITDA and just over 1x forward sales with no debt whilst guiding 8% sales growth and 20% EBITDA growth... With another 50m buyback, we might be at 3.2 fwd EBITDA and <1x fwd sales in the next 3 months if the share price does not tick up. There's no other adtech player out there going this cheap. Our valuation HAS to go up in multiples when rates go down (June) IF we deliver this guidance. | tapa7
10/4/2024 09:00 | Yanks might push ... no debt hmmmm perhaps something's afoot . | gadgie2
10/4/2024 08:58 | There has to be a big seller or price would have moved. Anybody think Tosca is leaving the building? | wheeze
10/4/2024 08:52 | cracking news falling on deaf ears | tsmith2
10/4/2024 08:50 | Yes - I think we are ok! lol | barkbooo
10/4/2024 07:43 | What was the "Cash element"? | midasx |
