Just shows how desperate the UK penny share market is now.

PDSB back to 12.5 and NSCI struggling to rise a few pence.

At these prices a few weeks back people were happy to pay 200p+ and now it's struggling to get back to the placing price.

But's it 122.97p to buy online almost full offer so still time for more action

Trowers & Hamlins has advised AIM-quoted NetScientific plc (AIM: NSCI), the life sciences and sustainability technology investment and commercialisation group, on its oversubscribed £7.7 million fundraising.

Following its acquisition of EMV Capital in 2020, and its fundamental change in strategy and management drive, the NetScientific group has acted to realise the underlying asset value in its portfolio companies and their potential to deliver shareholder value. This includes exploiting established trans-Atlantic business and expanding international presence to maximise the growth of its subsidiaries and portfolio.

The placing of new ordinary shares was carried out by WH Ireland Limited by way of an accelerated bookbuild and was approved by shareholders at a general meeting. The net proceeds of the placing will be used to continue to drive strategic growth plans, including commercialisation and project delivery within the group’s portfolio, further judicious investment in the group’s portfolio and new opportunities, and further exploiting the trans-Atlantic relationships.

Corporate Partner, Ed Hooper, led the Trowers team, assisted by solicitor, Isabelle Kilner, and trainee solicitor, Tom Bilton.

Ed commented:

“This oversubscribed fundraising is testament to the fantastic progress achieved by the NetScientific team in a year of turnaround and transformation. It was a pleasure to advise the business on its latest fundraising, and we look forward to supporting the continued success of the company's exciting growth strategy.”

Ilian Iliev, Chief Executive Officer of NetScientific, commented:

“We are grateful to Ed and the Trowers team for their support and pragmatic advice in delivering this transaction. We have worked with Ed for many years and his knowledge of our business, and commercial approach to structuring and executing transactions has again ensured a swift and efficient completion process.”

noticed decent accumulation in the background last few days.. there've been decent size sellers but seems each time we dip there's decent buying support.. especially in the teens..

shaping up nicely to make the move to back above the placing price..

Guess those late buyers before the close had noticed PDSB starting to motor.

Just to point out when PDSB was around 13 before the fundraising NSCI was being chased to 200p so with them buying stock in the placing at 8.5 and the price now 12.5 you'd think this might have legs tomorrow at 120p, it's 80 cheaper !

You watch the traders pile back in when somebody interesting announces a new stake.

Had it with WSG when HSBC bought in

another TR1:

PI looks not to have taken up placing either

not all bad if all new money at 130p - that'll be the new reference point for the new investors..

expecting some to be significant holders (>3%) given £7.7m was raised

i would have thought so anyhow..

They do not need to with such massive holdings already.

Day traders have little patience, if it drops a few more pence the 120-124p sellers will buy back in

CEO small participation personally (£30k) but not for his company

Lawson - didn't take up (think he's got his hands in a few pies already)

TR1's post placing from main holders:

CEO: 19.09% (previous c.24%)

Melvin Lawson: 16.36% (previous c.22%)

Equiv. 35% of share capital

New investing institutions who participated in placing should be next to TR1

free float still very limited - which should make for an exciting ride (albeit choppy)

Yesterday's buyers taking 2-5p profit today, too soon for me

PDSB finished close to 12 and when it was 13 this was racing to 200p

So think they will all be buying back higher soon when it tests 130p again

After a 200% move and traders getting caught out by a Placing always going to be some temporary digestion/churn in the shares

That seems to be over or near over with the 20 day EMA providing support with the 50 day EMA rising rapidly as well

Next news should see us move significantly higher as the Fair Value continues to rise driven by the excellent underlying portfolio of game changing technology companies

I expect £5-10 in the next year

Those 130p trades are buys..

Placing investors have backed the company to deliver.. but unlikely to have a lock in..

i very much doubt they're in for 10-50%.. they're looking for the value realisation from a lead Investment..

I hope all of our big placees have a longish lock-in period on their shares. We can do without even more turbulence if the share price rises.
