Back to 91p after the recent flurry.
My view is that Net is something of a wall flower. When money flows to find a home I don't believe that the company is an obvious target. The company is performing very well just under reported. It also is reluctant to provide news releases of all their new contracts- unless major- and does not seem that aligned in shareholder's interests.

Yes. Definite resistance at 100p with stale holders from last year selling. With yesterday's contract news and the fact that they did 60% of their FY EBITDA forecast in H1, there's a good chance they'll beat expectations in the July trading statement, even if the investment in CAAS is H2 weighted.

Maybe that will break the resistance.

Perhaps Netcall needs a new contract with a major player to send the stock on a true upward trajectory thru 100p.

Are we getting closer now to a breakout or not?...

Very solid earnings and with the move to not only cloud but strong yearly licensing revenues gives a great ongoing future for this company and stock! Also a debt free company with plenty of money in the bank….

Clear institutional demand at 92.5p for 1.2mm shares after option exercise. Chairman and CEO have retained 1.1mm shares increasing their stakes by 10-15%. Non-exec Jackson has sold 300k but he is 73 and has been winding down for some time.

Good trading statement. Revenues+8%, ACV+14% with cloud ACV+19% (+18/28% ex the large contract renewal decrease in ACV). Net cash 28.6mm +4mm since y/e and particularly strong uptake by new customers.

The acquisition means Liberty now offers all top 8 most commonly deployed automation technologies according to McKinsey.

Given their extensive customer base, they're pushing against an open door. It's worth reading some of the customer stories on their website.

Not many software companies with these kind of metrics at this price.

My concern simply is the communication of new contracts however initially small, will convey the continual progress of the sales and management of the firm.
It is as if Net flies under the radar most of the time. I am interested in what goes on as I am sure you are too. I do not think twitter is the standard forum for this essential investor communication.

They’ve only ever reported one contract outside the results as that was over 10% of revenues. They do mention a few new customers in the results and quite a lot on their twitter feed.

Also, remember it’s the NRR that gives them growth. Most new customers start small and then increase usage of the platform over time so there is no big bang to announce.

The company AGM provides a glowing progress report with 'new customers etc' using cloud services- yet no news releases to report on these contracts that I can read.
Why not? This is standard on my other holdings.

Very short sighted dip to 73p allowed me to add. As the broker says, these are trading on an EV/sales of 2.4x vs their peer group of global automation vendors at 6.4x and UK software at 3.5x.

More likely to be a fund looking to meet redemptions and clearly there is demand here, whether from another fund or the company itself.

Certainly changes in management- the CFO is now the new CEO. Is this a new broom.

The company has £24.3M in cash-what will they do.I don't think they will tell us for sure.

Looks like a fund has had enough of the recent poor performance and bailed out.

Not a shareholder friendly organisation. Never any news releases concerning their activity.

Yes. I wonder if the new CEO will consider it. Also, it would be good if they started doing online webinars with the results as PI engagement seems minimal.

Looks like a fundie has reduced heavily or is out on today's volume.

A share buy-back looks a no-brainer.

Unlikely - they're moving in quite different business directions.

RE the share sales, I didn't have a problem with them. The Chairman's stake increased and the CFOs stayed the same. The CEO sold a net 13% of his holding (but he is 64 so approaching retirement). In fact the only big reduction was a non-exec.

With 24mm net cash it would have to be a large acquisition to require a placing and whereas they mentioned possible acquisitions in the 2022 finals, this year the emphasis was all on organic investment and growth.

Looking at the low trading volumes, it appears to be PIs selling out in what is the worst market for smallcaps in 15 years so not that surprising. The contract renegotiation and increased investment has led to forecast earnings growth flatlining for the next year and I guess most PIs have a short investment horizon.

CC haven't raised their target price above 130p as the sector has derated significantly over the past 2 years.

Iroll: are you older that me??

simon gordon: I really feel that the senior management are not that focused on
maximising shareholder value. In fairness, they stick to their work and the company does well- yet they could do more to boost the stock as you suggest. Perhaps you should join the board and get things moving?
