Agreed Yoga, whatever the deal, we will be doing well.

By my reckonings, there is no way we are holding on to 40%. That would make us the largest single partner. With the GE and CMEC leading on the debt financing, can't see then wanting to keep at those levels. In fact, they must've coughed up their coffee when they saw the original NBO proposal ;-))

We may be left with 10% free carry plus a wad of retirement cash. I do believe though a buyout is seriously on the cards.

Only the top up was a punt, on the timetable difference between UPL's and NCCL's news landing. Looks like NCCL might make it by a nose.I do wonder whether negotiations are in place for a full buyout rather than the 40/60 JV, but still very good whatever the final structure.

At the lower end, absolute lowest, whatever deal that emerges, will gives us an share price of 30p. At the upper end, 80p-85p.

Some folk will be paying a hefty premium when they finally decide

CF73 has posted on the recent Lamu Coal power deal involving GE and Amu Power (i think deal from 17th May - so very recent).

The gist is, GE deadly serious and that Ncondezi is happening.
