19/1/2017 09:13 | It is essential that a good succession chain is maintained to retain the DNA of the business, a new set of eyes to assist always helps but the core need succession. | a2584728
19/1/2017 09:00 | Thank you for correcting me Geovest, and I agree on the benefit of renewal of senior management. My point re a managed evolution still applies. | jerseyman1
19/1/2017 08:55 | Just to correct the earlier post by Jerseman. Debbie Hewitt is NOT the new Chairman. She was appointed chair of the Nominations Committee, who will lead the search for a new Chairman. Sometimes a company becomes big but some key managers may not have the skill set to run a large, complex group. NCC realised that it needs Board members skilled and experienced in running large companies. First was the replacement of the FD and now the Chairman. These are positive moves going forward. | geovest

19/1/2017 08:09 | Reassuring results imo, especially the outlook: ""We have continued to see strong organic growth across the business, particularly in Assurance, albeit that earlier contract cancellations were disappointing. Our EBITDA has increased by 15% and we are maintaining our interim dividend at 1.50p - a clear indication of our confidence in our growth prospects for this year and beyond. "With our global reach and increased product range, we are in a prime position to help organisations as they tackle compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) ahead of 25 May 2018." The recovery should continue from here. | rivaldo
19/1/2017 08:05 | Jerseyman - tend to agree. Why would shareholders target Mitchell anyway. He will stand down at the end of May in a clearly managed process. | masurenguy
