18/5/2017 08:32 | Short >>>squeeze& | markth
18/5/2017 08:26 | Worldquant reduced their short position by0.11% on 15.5.17. Total shorts now at 7.88%. Maybe more will follow given recent sharp rise in share price | jerseyman1
17/5/2017 14:16 | A2584728. That was some brave buying down at low point, well done on that. I only hold small amount of shares here built up from £1.10 to £1.30 and very happy to see the price rise. Hopefully the strategic review will add more positive news for us over the next few months. | uapatel
17/5/2017 13:47 | I think you will do that, I also think that the 220 will be reached by July end. | a2584728
17/5/2017 13:39 | Bought at 202 after the first profit warning, then topped up at 174 and finally 89. Am needing 165-170 to get back in the black. I figure by the end of the month ;) | markth
17/5/2017 13:26 | Lol, this company is in great shape, the fall on the profit warning was overdone, hence I bought 30000 at 88, 92, 93p, no reason it can't get way beyond 220p | a2584728
17/5/2017 13:21 | Sophos more at the commodity end of cyber. NCC are at the other. Not saying it won't happen, just that they are two very different business models. PS loving the aroma of toasted shorter here :D | markth
17/5/2017 13:21 | Sector in focus, volume already way above ADV. SOPH has doubled in the last year. I'm running them and here. | aishah
17/5/2017 13:13 | Sophos more operates through a reseller channel model so I can't see them taking NCC on. | staylow2
17/5/2017 13:06 | I wouldn't be surprised to see SOPH bid for these | a2584728
17/5/2017 13:01 | It's probably on the back of SOPH update. Up near 40p today. Industry wide | staylow2
17/5/2017 12:57 | This is starting to look like there has been a good news leak???? | a2584728
17/5/2017 12:49 | There could be a short squeeze if this carries on | staylow2
17/5/2017 11:34 | I think there are some aggressive larger companies out there who might take a look at NCC, especially from overseas. CISCO, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, BAESYSTEMS, IBM, Booz Allen to name but a few. With the exception of BAESYSTEMS who are strong here in the UK, all of the others want to grow their cyber footprint here. | markth
17/5/2017 09:52 | 155 isn't going to buy this now chaps. 200p | a2584728
17/5/2017 09:02 | Looks like breaking upwards now....blue sky up to 180p if so? | rivaldo
16/5/2017 09:31 | Yes every bitcoin transaction is logged and is public. Anyone can view movements from address to address in the blockchain. The address is just a moniker, if you can trace it back to a real person (not all that hard) then bingo. If you use an exchange, to convert money-bitcoin and vice versa, they will have identity data on file, for example. | markth
15/5/2017 16:49 | 'Follow the money', it should be simple as that. I therefore really cannot understand how our fraud investigation specialists and 'Authorities' appear to suggest that 'blockchain' (Bitcoin) transactions cannot 'Globally' be traced to identify the instigator's accounts, when the sole purpose of 'blockchain' technology is provide a real-time and permanent 'on-line' records of all financial bitcoin transactions, however, complicated or deliberately obscure the route may have made by the criminal hackers to cover their tracks. If the money can get to the recipients' accounts then, without doubt, so too should the fraud investigators be hard on their heels (or even waiting) and when they finally do. The Authorities' should be capable of instantly freezing their accounts and globally expose the perpetrators and confiscate all of their assets and any affiliated or remotely linked bank accounts. If we can successfully send Space probes to land on Mars and orbit Saturn, then I'm absolutely sure we're 'Globally' capable of screwing these disruptive little 'bas....ds' down. Whether or not they're 'State' sponsored, as some suggest or just plain criminal. It's crazy that our 'hard pressed' NHS organisations now find themselves 'on the back foot' and subject to media criticism, as indeed are other public organisations that find themselves victim to this type of criminal extortion, when they're earnestly simply trying to serve the public who are in dire need of their clinical services. It's very likely that the criminals behind this will nervously wait some time before attempting to collect their 'ill-gotten gains' to make the risk worthwhile. However, as a sub-script, I find it even more pathetic that Corbyn's team today should attempt to grasp this latest 'global hack' as 'an opportunity' to further their own political agenda, rather than wholly condemning the criminals actually behind it. The suggestion that 'they' had actually planned to fund cyber security measures to protect NHS systems is cynical crass opportunism and highly doubtful. | mazarin
15/5/2017 10:13 | Recent global cyber attack may help attract new PI's as part of a recovery play. February's shock profit warning may hinder this for the risk averse. NCC has a significant discount in play that should help it recover as corporates are now forced to open their eye to reality. | elrico
15/5/2017 08:52 | NCC are specifically mentioned in today's Mail as a beneficiary "as spooked businesses tighten up their defences following Friday’s global hack": | rivaldo
15/5/2017 08:10 | Cyber attaches will help us here. | a2584728
12/5/2017 12:55 | Well the short interest seems to be stable at 8%, see I can see some selling today, accounting for the dip. | markth
05/5/2017 15:51 | May visit 133. Still looks to be in an ascending triangle on the daily. | staylow2
05/5/2017 13:57 | Almost every week we hear of Company customer records being further comprised by illegal hacking. Here's another, as reported today in the Irish Press. ".....26,000 customers of Debenhams Flowers, operated by third party supplier Ecomnova, had their data "accessed or stolen" as a result of the breach. The firm said in a statement: "As soon as it became aware of the incident, Debenhams took immediate steps to protect customers. "All affected customers have been contacted by Debenhams to inform them of the incident and to advise them on steps to take to reduce risk." The Debenhams Flowers website was suspended. Debenhams said it has notified the Information Commissioner's Office and is working with authorities and cyber security experts to support Ecomnova in investigating the incident. Chief executive Sergio Bucher apologised for the breach, saying: "We take the security of data very seriously and protecting our customers is a top priority for Debenhams" Yer right....! You just wonder what 'counter-cyber attack' measures were actually taken by Ecomnova, if any or is all just talk after the event? How can NCC fail not to exploit this ever growing sector? | mazarin |
