01/4/2010 01:37 | A bit more appeal since the share price has fallen 6% since the results. Now yielding about 6% covered 1.8 times. Business expected to stay flat over next 2 years. Good safeish income stock if nothing else. | bend1pa
19/3/2010 08:44 | According to pre-close statement, prelims for y/e 31 December 2009 expected on Monday 22nd March. Large number of slide-offs into hedges, fences and roadsigns in my neck of the woods during the Jan/Feb icy weather, I'm hoping this will now be feeding through into increased business for nars. | guy martin
25/2/2010 20:56 | looking good nri | value viper
15/2/2010 12:31 | someone's bought £20,000 worth - given the market maker something to think about. | value viper

08/2/2010 21:04 | Joey - care to explain? Looks quite undervalued to me & pays a good dividend. Also, has a strong market position and should continue to do well, by expanding gradually as it has done for a number of years. | topvest
08/2/2010 20:07 | This company is not undervalued. JW | joey wilson
08/2/2010 15:00 | Strong Buy Rating from Growth Company Investor | investinggarden
23/1/2010 09:19 | Yes, looks like they have held their own in a very tough year. They have a number 1 position in the market and claims experienced will come back at some point, so they look very well positioned. Happy to hold on a 5.6% yield. The company does look undervalued. | topvest
22/1/2010 08:29 | can't argue with that really. margins better; net cash at 8 million , no debt. strip out the cash it is what, a PE of 7. In line means decent earnings growth. Cheap imv but DYOR and NRI. | value viper
21/1/2010 19:32 | legal & general reducing is not helping us make headway but I believe someone is also buying in. hopefully once legal are done, we stand a decent chance ..NRI | value viper
20/1/2010 18:55 | Judging by the number of damaged cars running around resulting from the recent snowy weather, we should be able to look forward to a positive pre-close trading statement. | guy martin
11/1/2010 16:15 | buys continuing to trickle thru then over £50,000 worth bought in 2 trades timed 1459 and 1533 but NRI. | value viper
05/1/2010 19:36 | Definitely undervalued imo. Presumably all this snow is great for business for the likes of Nationwide. Lots of minor prangs needing to be fixed. Not much fun for the rest of us though!! | topvest
05/1/2010 08:48 | there is a pension deficit too but i think the valuation is pretty compelling; volume picking up now (NRI). | value viper
04/1/2010 22:59 | Reading over xmas and dipped a toe in here...have + experience of using these guys divi covered conservative balance sheet NAV from half year results 62p increased cash holding 2008/2009 little debt Largest provider in its market, stable turnover insurance work Barclays have 31 Dec 09 eps 8.86 div 5 31 Dec 10 eps 10.24 div 5 IMS due end January hopefully points to EPS recovery in 2010 I can only assume the September sell off reflects a lack of visibility for 2010 ?? | muffinhead
24/12/2009 13:14 | I've added to my stake here. Looks undervalued. The last couple of weeks bad weather will also have helped trading performance, so could have a stronger winter performance. | topvest
23/12/2009 11:52 | couple of big buys - roll up, roll up ! wonder if the cold weather is boosting business ! | value viper
16/12/2009 16:36 | octopus have 7.13 % | value viper
07/12/2009 20:28 | a new thread for a new direction in the share price soon ? Look forward to commencing a dialogue with others. | value viper
07/12/2009 20:27 | Judging from volume today, looks like some stock has been shifted; perhaps a seller cleared ? Robust balance sheet, paying dividends and seems to have found technical support. Think it warrants a look but DYOR and good luck. | value viper
07/12/2009 13:27 | big volume last friday; my guess seller could be cleared........nri | value viper
09/10/2009 10:53 | Certainly got to be a long term good bet here, but could be in for a rough 12 months. I usually have these grand ideas of picking up these really cheap, them some shyster of a tipster bangs out an email highlighting how cheap they are before I have bought in! Think these will pick up before JCR, so any significant rise here should be tracked by JCR 3-6 months later. Both pretty illiquid and 20% moves not uncommon on small volumes. | taylor20 |
