From 8.58 to 8.52.

With the results due on Thurs it should be going one way!

Especially when they make the 'City' realise the divi will be approx 27.65p / share payable in Aug

sco77harris, you didn't have long to wait to get your wish! Picked up some @807 in February and added more this week after top slicing AZN for a very decent profit. Still a good dividend yield at current price.

We now need a close and hold above 830 to get out of the current slight downtrend.

Exactly Pierre - this is better than a Gilt. Safer and more rewarding than bonds with a slice of dividend and capital growth thrown into the mix. I've never been brave enough to trade mine, although there have been good opportunities.

So was I Nut.

The key point about ng. imv is the lack of risk in the uk regulated business. No possibility of bad debts, no marketing dept, no salesmen to pay etc etc - quite an odd business really - just an almost zero risk regulator approved slice off the traded electricity, with returns based on assets.

Well you live and learn, in that case my apologies - I've been buying in more NG stock for ISAs in anticipation of a further rise so it was welcome to see the move today.

He was clearly alluding to the 0.25p being the trigger for better things today, clearly sometimes that can be lost on those of us less well equipped to see it!

I take it back Pierre, you are just like Monty - you appear to have the magic touch.
You infer a sentiment, the market does the opposite - genius!

is a really bad deal n'est-ce pas?

Sorry don't understand your abbreviation in brackets (vbg). The South American business was poor compared to the North business but it was non core, and non core businesses have been dropped

The sell off? Plummeting? Are we looking at the same share?

What I see, as an income-seeker looking at the longer term, is a share that has had a modest pullback in the course of a long term uptrend.

Again though looking at the graphs at top of site it does look like US holders selling down but then after our close buying back?
