what a massive punt they took. hahaha

if they had confidence they would be chucking 100k-200k in.

as they did not, target of 12p remains

Finncapp published a note this am. They have revised EPS down to 13p for 2020, and provided a bit more info about whats going in the PI division. Note is freely available. Just need to register to access.

Having suggested buying back at 73p (having sold on profit announcement on 23rd Dec), I think will wait and see. Am sure there will be a short-term bounce, but longer term value? Who knows (clearly not the company).

To recap , are we now at 2 profit warnings ?

I know its only anecdotal but the number of times that profit warnings come in threes ...
I believe it is deep rooted in corporate psyche.

No one wants to tell their boss its all gone pear shaped, so info leaks out a bit at a time.

"Clearly it was not "priced in""

The UK market has under performed these past 4 years, missed out on world growth 2016-2018, and with Brexit has seen money flush out of the UK .... so there is little money to support shares once they profit warn with US hedge funds crawling around.

Stick to $ and € earning UK companies ... and shy away from UK focused stocks at the present time .....

... and those that voted for Brexit ... have their reward.

Relieved I bailed last April ... with no dividend to support the share ... no interest.

All IMO.

"Profit warning seems already priced in. Forecast was for 15.7p so now maybe 14.5p. Cutting dividend altogether seems harsh. However, next year is unclear. It sounds like forecasts will drop a lot from 17.5p."

Priced in ?? !!

you posted at 8.04 but maybe you started writing that before the open.
Clearly it was not "priced in"

at 50p does that account for it ?
If anyone was in any doubt how crucial dividends are to share prices - take a look here !

"#The #AIM #shares that will keep profiting from election result"

That is why I bought in two years ago ... but competition in the sector is now harsh.

The clues were there.

No divi, no reason to buy and was the only reason to hold in the interim, looking like a bit of a bargepole.

"...However, in order to de-risk the Group in the light of market circumstances, the Board has decided to slow the deployment of working capital in the PI business and to suspend the Company's dividend. Consequently, the Board's outlook for 2020 performance is now significantly lower than previous expectations."

NAH comes up third a lot of competition in the sector IMO.

I'll wait for 73p again like earlier this year.
