Rather than begin an argument about the veiled attempt to blame me for 'deramping' too much, there's actually an interesting discussion point here. How much impact does bullish and bearish posting on chat boards actually have..When Hugh and others were in full ramp mode did it actually artificially boost the price? Likewise, do those with a more bearish view actually encourage more selling than there needs to be? What are people's guesses at the percentage of the shareholder base that read ADVFN or any of the other share boards, and how many of those would be swayed into buying/selling/holding from what is said here? I've really no idea so would like to see if anyone has an opinion.

I have spoken to Nigel about the change of broker and the rationale is for reasons unrelated to a fundraise. I have posted the real reason for the change on other boards but will not do so here. I can assure investors though that there is no fundraise currently planned and any reference to one by the derampers is for the purpose of trying to panic investors into selling. This share is grossly oversold already as a result of the fears put about by certain posters.

Haha, not unless N4P makes a spectacular recovery and we're all rich. In that context it works, apologies for my incorrect interpretation!

Ah well just to clear my name on the grammar, that's the correct usage.."Your scrambling around to try to fit the statement to the facts isn't working.." is meant to be the possessive, as in "your efforts to back out of the statement". Maybe not the best construction, but not incorrect usage.

30 July - 'Your scrambling around.'

I admit Hugh has also crossed the line on occasions, but there is a bit of a mob-mentality towards him. It's fair enough not to agree and challenge his points, just seems to have got out of hand as of late to the detriment of the board.

Eddie - you commented on 23 July that the 'Hugh bashing' is the only reason you look in these days and also called him a 'Bell End.' Fair enough if you don't agree with his views, but the line has been crossed on a few occasions on this board. People have even attacked his spelling and grammar, which is completely unnecessary and not a marker for intelligence. Particularly when our very own Dplewis attacks Hugh for using your instead of you're, only for him to make the same error 2 days later. Ironic, really.

Nobby and DP are most certainly not bullying Hugh
If anything it’s the other way round

Nobby
My reference to “hammeringR21; in no way implies that I think you are bullying Hugh. I simply think that yourself and DP are easily winning each confrontation with the wretch through reasoned and well executed posts.

If you missed RPT RNS - you could say its a stormer - Up again tomorrow
Increased P1 reseves by around 1500%!!!!! Not going to comment on the rest, have a read....

Yes that is 1500% uplift (and thats just the P1) It is hard to believe how significant this is.

THe herd have not arrived yet.. Its still under the radar of most investors.

Add to it 40 million USD in the bank
Heading for 4,000 boepd production in the short term
Just announced 24 well development programme for this huge resource.

Some comments from twitter below

#RPT A truly gigantic reserves upgrade for O&G holding #RegalPetroleum. About to catch a flight but am totally ecstatic by this news. Totally oustanding. 1P (proved) soar from 1.9mmboe to 27.8mmboe and a further 24 wells. Gobsmacked! investegate.co.uk/regal-petroleu…

Dont waste your time and miss the boat, this is still seriously undervalued .

I am really sorry if it comes across like that. However, my goal is just to highlight the flaws in his scientific and Pharma marketing etc arguments. I feel like that is all I have done, although perhaps the belittling of his twitter feed was going a little too far! Generally speaking I always like to hear both sides of the discussion and isn't that what bulletin boards are all about.....

Hmmmm

From an outside perspective Nobby, you most definitely are bullying Hugh and it's got hugely tiresome having to trawl past your personal vendettas to find anything worthwhile reading on here.

I have 10k shares so only worth £700 or so. You won't get many OPTI shares for that and I have over 50k of those already! Essentially I love discussing science and Pharma....if it's done in a civil way!

Nobby, why waste your time posting on this board - sell off your remaining holding and move on to more interesting stocks like Optibiotix who are going from strength to strength. Although N4 may bounce back some years downstream, for now it is a lost cause and not worth wasting time on.

But I hate bullying with a venom! My son was bullied at school and it has affected his whole life! So I want to have a genuine debate and highlight the issues.... but not 'hammer' people.

Actually a couple of glasses of wine not a light ale 😜

I think it's your turn for the rose tinted glasses now nobby..or maybe you've had a light ale. It was pretty clear from the caps lock aggression that it has already been made personal.. I don't think he's ever going to come back and admit any wrongdoing.

I don't like the suggestion from Eddie that we are 'hammering' hugh. I think it is important to give the realistic accurate view as I see it and of course hugh is the purveyor of the ramping view so becomes the target. However, I most definitely don't want to make it personal.

No need to worry. He surfaced on twitter today so no doubt you can rekindle your relationship with him soon. Funny how he goes so quiet when N4's share price suffers. It's the market that's wrong though obviously, not Hugh..

I genuinely hope hugh is ok. Clearly from his capital letter posts and angry comments he takes it all far too personally.....and seriously. Plus presumably he has lost a small fortune so I for one am a little concerned....

Shareholders are feeling disappointed which is understandable, the biggest broker change reasoning for a fledgling company is 9 times out of 10 for fundraising I must admit. I’d say in this instance it’s due to Nigel needing to have a wider degree of options, he needs commitment and backing, not handbrakes and “what ifs”.. Give it time guys, I’m confident we’re in good hands but have also welcomed your cautious stance with the trials situation. Listening and learning everyday.
