The bod currently are locked out of purchasing shares, given the enormity of what’s expected with Nuvec we’ll soon see if they can backup the potential with further buying. Hugh bashing is killing the N4P ADVFN board..

Patience is not simply the ability to wait - it's how we behave while we're waiting.

Ok just a couple more posts😜; some things just need to be discussed. Hugh can you tell me how Nigel got on at Oxford Nutrascience/ Oxford Pharmascience?

Ok enough is enough. I am sure other people don’t want to read these petty spats so I am withdrawing from this conversation (but not from the thread).

"The fact remains..", "The reality is.." Nigel this, Nigel that .. it's painful to read to be honest. No wonder people get exasperated with you and suggest that it's easier just to filter. I've always been reluctant to use that option as I feel it's a bit of a cop-out but your risible attempts to dig yourself out of your previous statements is extremely frustrating and just a waste of everyone's time.

The fact remains that with the AZ collaboration, the progression of the Japanese or any other talks, news could be released at any time and with no leaks with this company then that could have a huge impact on the share price before the market even opens.

Nobby, get real. How could I possibly post his view as we are not the same person.

dplewis, the 3 months was the timespan for diplomatic assistance with talks, the logic being that we may see news within that time. What we have seen from the news releases is that talks are being progressed. I have found with Nigel that he will only release news when it is done and dusted so the fact that he even admits to a progression of talks is a positive. Nigel does everything by the book.

Yes I have read the RNSs relating to MedImmune, as well as your posts relating to the proximity of a deal. In early May (the 3rd to be precise) you stated "the 3 month evaluation period for the Japanese pharma's is coming to an end this month and then it will be decision time for deals and collaborations. The bottom line being that an RNS May not be far off". That to me is a very suggestive post which now clearly looks a bit naive as we are almost 3 months on from that date. My point (again) Hugh is that your language has a very clear bias to it. Even your post just now "the odds are that a deal will be done and that it will not only be huge.." is not a fact it is merely conjecture - you do not back it up with any evidence or numbers and this is why people do not have any confidence in anything that you say.

Except you quote his view in just about every post. Sometimes I lose the will to live. Anyone with a view slightly different from the party line has to be summarily dismissed and their view rubbished.

Nobby, you know absolutely NOTHING about my relationship with Nigel and yet you choose to comment about it using your own slant of course. For your information, there are a number of things we disagree about but HE is running the show and your not.

So why do,you rubbish everyone else's views....except for your beloved Nigel of course, who walks on water. Trusting a management team can be very dangerous. Tim McCarthy Chairman of IMm has a voluminous cv but is a charlatan who misleads people on a regular basis. Che a poster on the IMM thread was identical to you and trusted every word he said...and paid the penalty with a massive loss!

The only thing i would challenge is why you are responding to hugh wilson? NUTS.

Hes finished , cant be trusted. Stop responding to his posts.

He put his full weight behind a successfull outcome. He was wrong. He failed miserably.

The filter button is strongly recommeded to be applied.

Im losing confidence in you that you respond to Hugh Wilson. Cut it out.

You've come out in a combative mood Hugh, so why don't you turn those aggressive comments back on yourself just for a change - "if only you had the intelligence to hear what you are saying". The only thing I hear you saying is the same repetitive selection of facts you've been churning out for months. Rather than your rousing soapbox style "the reality is" speech, why don't you attempt to find some weaknesses in N4's strategy or prospects? That would surely be what any sensible investor would do. Is it not also the reality that no deals have come to fruition from the trip to Japan, for example? It's funny how you fail to acknowledge such matters that I would feel are an important part of assessing a company. As Rodders pointed out, the market does not lie - maybe you need to think of the reasons behind the current valuation before yet another Twitter post about how amazing Nuvec is going to be.

LOL It is a little rich you reprimanding me for being 'superior' when that has been your basic position all along! Any dissenting voice is summarily dismissed as stupid. It takes one to know one.....

As I said before I bought on momentum but when I had fully assessed the company, I realised the big issues. And just to say I was instrumental in bringing to market a drug over a period of 23 years which is now turning over 1.5 billion Euros. I was involved all the way through from inception, to development, to launch and to life cycle management. Ho hum....

dplewis1,
Just stating the facts and the current state of play.
What Nobbo is doing is just stating his opinion which he informs us is far superior to anyone else's.
As for you, you are just preaching hate as you always do with NO factual content whatsoever.

The important thing for Nuvec is not the clinical trials in 2020 but the licensing deals in 2019 as it is those that will bring the upfront payments that could be in millions into the coffers. Prior to those deals we will see more collaborations this year, all of which will be proving up Nuvec for future money earning deals.

The reality is that we have one of the biggest pharma's in the world working with N4 to make Nuvec the success we all know it can be. AZ is not working with us out of sympathy but because they think we have a world-beating delivery system capable of becoming the new industry standard. AZ partner companies they think are the success stories of the future and the reality is that AZ approached N$ for an early collaboration because they were that impressed with Nuvec and its prospects,.

Everything I say is completely logical as I have a scientist's brain. Show me one thing I've said with hindsight. Because of your aggressive attacks on me, I didn't say that I strongly suspected the formulation wouldn't work first time round but that was why I was selling my holding.

My experience and my contacts means this is an area I know a lot about. I am related to someone who launched Viagra Connect so have a hot line into what Pfizer is thinking. Consequently, my strong opinion is that N4P are wasting their time pursuing this formulation further. This was my opinion from the start as I posted but the reformulation failure has firmed up that view.

I know a lot of you guys hate the idea that I might be an expert in this field.....but it is true.

Keep smiling hugh....

Nobby, the thing that amuses me about you is that you come onto this board and proudly boast that you know much more than anyone else including Nigel and all his high profile consultants that have years of experience in top line jobs and are well respected in their field, but you know more than all of them put together don`t you.
Not only is everything you say said with the benefit of hindsight but none of your logic stacks up. You are very keen to tell the world that NO reformulation works the first time round and yet in your infinite wisdom above all others you expect N4 to ditch sildenafil

With all due respect, my view is not with hindsight. You gave me stick before for doubting there was a market for this viagra formulation. But hey ho don't let the truth get in the way of a good story!

all true hugh however despite Nigel not giving up, the reality is as we can see the market has given up. For the moment that's all anyone can see.
