Billy
I agree with you regarding phlebotomy tests.
I feel they had detailed publishing results up to the
31st December hoping to have news on the matter. She clearly has little passion for LFT tests with low margins from China.
Will the next government see the potential to use this facility as a means of reducing time and need for Gp appointments at first call.
All ifs and buts.
Not worth selling at these prices in my opinion

I just watched the end of the presentation as I only got to watch half it yesterday.

I didn’t hear any mention of why directors not buying or buybacks. Anyone hear anything ?

Interestingly, I did see Pennys face light up when a question was raised about phlebotomy. I know this has always been in her radar. I’m suspecting that they are talking to boots to get the tests used in boots stores where they actually take the blood sample and send it off.

I’m not sure 9p but who knows. Actually I see a bounce soon simply because the price is falling despite more buying than selling and also there is interest in buying so not all selling. This could clear weak sellers but at some point the cash value alone will push it back up.

Hopefully sooner than later but it sucks for LTHs who probably will never get anything back without taking a punt and averaging at some point. Maybe everyone needs some positive news flow.
I just worry that Penny and the board are very slow at releasing information but if something is going on I hope the wait is worth it.

Added this morning.
Not a large holding for me here but enough for me to pay attention.

My main takes from the results/presentation :-

1, Not that the CEO was buying shares but a plausible reason given for not being able to buy.
2. Things going on at the corporate level over and above simply increasing sales.
3. They have a lump of cash and they are not burning through it.....in fact adding.
4. It could be that the retained lump of cash is being used to enable a very small company like this to sit at the "big table" ?

Don't have a large holding but with safe looking cash of 14p/share ,a Quick ratio of 2.5 and the prospect (?) of some sort of deal it is certainly worth a punt.

(if the price had ZOOMED to 15p I was going to sell ....hmmm!!....I now think there is a bit more than that here.....but..."you pays your money you takes your chance!!"

I also recall Penny saying MHC planned to increase its range in the around 750 stores they are currently in and increase the number of stores to 950 for its products to be on sale in out of the 1950 stores Boots has. That still less than half the stores so scope for expansion.

Did anyone else listen in.
What did others take from it!

Listening was interesting and it would appear they are working on a few things which Penny said they intend to share with the market over coming months!. Maybe one reason they can’t buy shares if they have price sensitive information.
Seems like B2B with insurance is area of potential growth. Still happy with cash position penny says and self sufficient. I bet if share rose suddenly we could see and acquisition and capital raise. Not quite what to make when asked about ABDX. LFT tests never seemed to be her main focus.
Nothing said from Chairman.
Honestly I can’t believe how low share price is on cash alone compared to competitors and their positions financially and market caps out there. Maybe this may change and they may get some credit for being self sufficient and not needing to dilute over the years.
Most investors bailed already after huge losses and I don’t believe any investors making any capital return on investment so far. Far to say you must believe share price can go use from these levels but who knows

Cash in bank position alone = a 14p share price. Advice on what forward earnings multiple is should be presented to us along with sales forecasts.

Still a shocking market capital valuation given cash when other companies like GDR have spent over a 100m and diluted the !!! Out the company. MHC have a decent cash position so it valuation should surely be higher than current price.
The markets will suck the life out of any company.
How does a company survive or grow if it’s trashed to levels almost half its cash position

The Directors made it clear a long time ago that they had no interest in the share price. They have a plan and they are sticking to it.

Can’t even trade at its cash levels . What a damning indictment on the BOD .Pathetic delivery for shareholders. No dividend, no share buybacks, no director share purchases , terrible share price performance. What’s not too like . Director’s still draw their salaries.

Yesterday at close you could dummy sell £10,000 at 11.58p!
Today 11.11p!
Market makers having a field day.
Just hope buyers keep buying and squeeze it North.
So far no big sellers so hopefully it turns north it the makers can’t force a sell off

Meant at least it hasn’t fallen

Anyway let’s see if buyers come in a try and move it north. It should have a better rating really.

You summed it up well. It’s a shame the markets keep selling it off. I see ABDX bought a company using shares etc. MHC have cash and need to do something with it to help expand more rapidly whilst many companies struggling. Now could be a time for an acquisition given how cheap many companies are. I’m sure the board have evaluated this and well aware of the opportunities out there. For me I I just hope the board don’t just rely on Boots because IMO Boots doing deals with ABDX shows they have no loyalty to MHC products. I do believe an incoming Labour Party may wish to get waiting list and cost down regards GPs etc and if MHC products were to be made available to Boots Pharmacy for prescription to use in conjunction with Boots trained pharmacy staff then MHC and Boots could have a huge beneficial and meaningful relationship. That depends on the Government as shown in recent changes in some products be prescribed in Boots. I do worry that Penny and the board are not focusing on investors Importance and value. I say this because since lockdown many of us are 90% down so a rise of 10% has no impact. Also lack of news offers little incentive to average down. I hope they truly offer something to change this and can demonstrate organic growth in revenue out side of Covid products giving optimism to the markets. We mustn’t take away how well Penny and the board have done growing the cash position whilst being self sufficient and not needing to return to the market for capital raises. This in itself is a major success however the market will be focusing on the growth potential in revenue and ability to convert it to profit.

Will those who sold into the recent rise come back in after results.
Will they be proved smart or will MHC rise after results.
Its truly one of them companies that it so difficult to predict.
As I say at some point the market and shorters have to catch a cold

Some times you have to question markets 100%.
They smash a company shorting it like with Rolls Royce and then snap it up at distressed levels and make a fortune pumping it again.
Unfortunately for MHC the market doesn’t understand the nature of the wellbeing and wellness market so won’t truly get behind despite it handling its finances prudently in recent times.
The market is simply a casino and just looking for the next Amazon or Tesla etc.
I do believe one day fundamentals will play out and MHC will be rewarded because you can’t keep kicking a company down the road if it keeps demonstrating its ability and viability.
Just when the markets will reward MHC is anyone’s guess

Its always the same, approaching results, price goes up, everyone gets excited...Results come out followed by decline back to, or lower than pre. People recognise this and take the opportunity to get outWe need a truly stellar set of numbers, or an unexpectedly good news to change this...

So how on earth can it turn the corner if as you say we have better results and it falls back.
MHC needs a break at some point

No one knows anything. Results will be better than majority of other aim shares.

But share price as Ie always said will decline for no reason.
