I reckon it was released so that certain individuals could load up on some cheap shares before a full rns reveals all the details and the share Price rallies. I think they know exactly what they're doing !

Astonished that MWA released this quarterly update via a presentation at Indaba. It should be an RNS announcement as indeed it always has been in the past. What is the NOMAD saying about this? Come on Peel Hunt you are supposed to regulate your AIM clients.

RE the update itself.. Why does it contain no explanations at all for the poor performance nor any indication as to how the situation is to be rectified?

And what's the point of the cryptic comment about the bond issue at BNC? Oh so it will be amortised in two years at $16k Ni! Ni isn't $16k nor anything like it. Why not tell us the terms of the bond instrument?

Poor performance, poor investor communication and poor governance. Wake up Mwana.

Wish I had your faith. After being in this for many years, now totally disillusioned and now out!!

It appears that MWA don't seem to understand the meaning of price sensitive information like the rest of us do. All price sensitive information should first appear in an RNS, not at some mining forum in Africa.

Is this company run by idiots? They seem to make too many mistakes for me as a shareholder to be comfortable with.

All imho.

Plenty of buying this morning. I have taken back 1.2m for breakfast. I am hopeful based on a conversation with Caroline last night that the update will be rapid and the 4th month will include much better performance. I think MWA have majorly screwed up here. Hopefully they will learn from this. The Copper drilling results will be out very soon and the bond completes in a couple of weeks. Hopefully that can spark some interest. Apparently operationally MWA have enough cash despite the three months to December being so poor.

It looks very much like the disclosure was a mistake and they had intended to keep us in the dark until they had something more positive to report. There will be a four month operational update reported in "due course". Ignoring bad news is not the way forwards. Explaining bad news and defining the response is what they should be doing rather than treating shareholders like fools. However someone is looking rather foolish now after posting the Indaba presentation. The trouble runs deeper though in my opinion; why disclose to Indaba something they are not prepared to share with shareholders.

I suspect it will go lower before it goes up any. I expect an RNS from Kalaa with his £30k buy. I gtot well above the mid for mine but I think the MM'S were wrong footed as the info was not in an RNS. Had they seen it they would have dropped straight off.

I did a dummy sell of 500000. The mm happy to pay .03 over. They want your shares. My guess is that this won't be at this level for long.

I had some from 1.4p and I sold over 900k at 1.89 but I also have a load at 2p and some at 2.5p. Painful as we will not see that until they sort this mess out.

I would love to know what they are doing right now. Have the costs returned to previous levels now the new machinery is bedded in. If not there will be very little funding in the pot. This could be a great opportunity or a real disaster.

Price action on this now looks weak.

Now expect this to head towards the 1.3p as anticipated.

Bump The official explanation will be the integration of the new machinery however that does not account for the grades. Someone spent 30k this morning. Any bets that was Kalaa. I wonder if we will get an update at all now. All very unnecessary and underhand.

I've a feeling that they are funding the smelter restart costs from internal funds at the moment until the bond is agreed.

These costs will be amortised into the C3 costs.

Poor % grades in both gold and nickel too.

Gold costs the last quarter were actually $1304 all in. Nickel costs were $17039. What a shame they notified the market through the Indaba presentation and did not do the honest thing and come clean with a monthly update on time. Kalaa will have bought today I believe to distract the market.
Diamond sales are doing excellent but the rest has been losing cash for the last three months.

Yes. Both nickel and gold costs up massively and both making a loss. How dishonest they look now. No wonder Kalaa was not buying. Sneaky way to release the figures.
