16/7/2007 07:21 | Murchison United NL said drilling will start this week at its Maroochydore copper project joint venture in Western Australia. The 13-hole drilling programme is designed in part to confirm existing resources of 0.51 mln tonnes of copper and 20,000 tonnes of cobalt. However, the group warned that the limited availability of the reverse circulation drill rig means that it may not be able to complete the full program in the short term. The Maroochydore project is a joint venture with Aditya Birla Minerals Ltd. Positive move forward with a hint of caution. The short term drill may at least tell them if it is worth continuing. | jda
06/7/2007 15:23 | MILLENIUM MINING LEASE Seems to be a cobalt mine, these are serious grades First sample #2001: 414ppm Co = = US$26/ton + 0.92% Cu = US$73/ton = total $99/ton Best sample #2024: 9705ppm Co = US$578/ton + 4.18% Cu = US$331/ton = total of $909/ton With these cobalt grades it seems easily a 0.50% Cu equiv. grade prospect And with all these hybrid cars coming! (a lithium battery has a core of cobalt) Another moneymaker, Cloncurry has all the infrastrucrure in place. | vanbrussel
06/7/2007 13:23 | NEW WEBSITE!!!! Didn't have the time to evaluate the U-prospects in Mauritania, the WA-Maroochydore Copper Project is certainly a share price booster Attributable to MUU.L are 255Kt Cu and 10Kt Co Copper valuation (in Africa) = US$ 0.10 lb/Cu + US$ 0.50 lb/Co remember this is a basic valuation - should be higher in Oz US$ 56,217,877 Cu + US$ 11,023,113 Co = AUD 78,534,120 Murchinson's MarketCap = ?372M shares at AUD 0.135 = AUD $50,220,000 $6M is needed to fund projects so I'm not going to discount it ! Share price has a minimum upside of 56% on Maroochydore alone Makes a share price of 21c or 9p | vanbrussel
28/6/2007 12:27 | When should we get the results from the last drill, seem to be takeing a long while. | curlly
28/6/2007 07:36 | Let's hope it's not the big news. I'm hoping there is something bigger and better coming with the results from Cananda of their test drills. | eintracht
28/6/2007 07:08 | Lets hope so, not doing much to the share price at moment. | curlly
28/6/2007 07:05 | Is the 6th Licence the big news? It is big if it comes toi fruition, as are any of the others. We can but hope- least it is moving forward and for those who like speculative mining shares, should be high up on the list of buys. | jda
27/6/2007 08:37 | Thank you very much .. | bugrlugs
26/6/2007 15:38 | Could you please post the link for the iii bulletin board ... thanks ... | bugrlugs
26/6/2007 09:14 | The last couple of days seems to have put us en route to the next leg up. The long-term chart looking good. | gerri-c
25/6/2007 07:51 | Well the geezer in the know on the iii bulletin board (bobblybear - doesn't sound like a uranium expert!!) reckoned 2 bits of news within a fortnight and that was on the 15th of June, so his credibility will be jack sh*t come this Friday if we dont hear anything....and I'll be kindly reminding him of that. On the other hand if he's right I'll be stood at the bar in his local pub buying the man a well deserved drink. | cwake1
25/6/2007 07:27 | Good volume and up 7% in Australia today. | orvis
22/6/2007 09:43 | i have been in since 2000 but at 60p a share when tp tipped them!!!!.Have bought a few thousand at 3p to bring my break even point down to 11p.Hopefully this strategy will pay off and will see a profit before long. | boydy
22/6/2007 08:08 | The chart seems to indicate there is a price drop-back in the month of June, picking up again in July. It was evident even last year when the overall drop was more pronounced. Would this price action have something to do with the Australian tax year end (30th June)? General Meeting 13th July. | gerri-c
22/6/2007 07:39 | The share price on the ASX [ MUR ] keeps slipping a bit day on day maybes we won't move up much untill they perk up ... least we may have an early warning of when the sample results are released ... | bugrlugs
21/6/2007 21:38 | Oh well, making a profit on these will have to remain a dream for a little longer!!! | cwake1
21/6/2007 09:07 | Well done you must be holding a fair few i would guess ... nice pension ... | bugrlugs
20/6/2007 22:52 | Funnily enough my average price is now 6.4p so I'm at brean even!! Although I did buy a fair amount over here on the ASX at 98c (approx 2.4p) in February so after all these years I'm finally looking at a potential profit.....maybe!! I'm probably not brave enough to buy any more though!!! | cwake1
20/6/2007 10:17 | We have all been there ... I am assuming that your average price is now a long way south of 50p .. | bugrlugs
20/6/2007 09:42 | I wouldn't say I deserve respect for being in since 50p, stupidity is probably closer to the mark. Interested if anybody else is still in from TW's original 50p tip in 2000 !!! Next 2 weeks should define where this share is heading long term. | cwake1
19/6/2007 21:20 | looking to buy in - will need to do some digging around, hopefully the recent drill results should be out very shortly. and should provide some indication on prospects. Like how busy the company is currently...newsflow should come thick and fast and with a following wind who knows. | tsmith2
19/6/2007 10:32 | seems to be mainly buys this morning, but drifting down. Trend line still good though. Time to top up- or average down as another long term holder. | jda |
