this could be like Glencar mining or Griffin mining flat line for years and then 400% up in a few months but take years to lift off (another tom tip)

There was a rumour that City Financial (CFP) are to announce a major IPO deal with a very interesting player very shortly. This is the reason why there has been increased activity in this stock.

The deal, if finalised, will see a sharp increase in turnover and a strong balance sheet thus eliminating any further requrement for fundraising.

Our M/D Paul Atherly has taken up another position with another company there cant be much to do these days especially when murchison has only a few dollars in the bank.

Is the old pro reeling round for the last time? When his nut hits the deck will it spray water all over the ring side seats, I am in to the death. Long live Murchison United....United.... United.

IMHO this company has no investment merit whatsoever and should be wound up and delisted.

Looks like murchison will be heding off-shore with a asset to satisfy the u-k brokers
(they were so close to signing a deal before the agm)
from a holder in australia. good luck....

I was being ironically flippant about LMC. There is a rumour about a reverse takeover for MUU though, so maybe we'll see 2p sooner than we thought - only been holding for 2 years now.

From UK Analyst.com

Former mining accident Murchison United looks
>to be heading the same way (as HAW). It is expected to announce within a few
>weeks that it has offloaded its sole asset (the Renisson Bell tin mine
>in Tasmania) leaving it with a dual Australian/London listing some cash
>and a management keen to find decent assets to be reversed into the
>company. Murchison today climbed by 0.375p to 1.35p.

Anyone brave enough to take a punt ?

Lastminute.com has bounced back with avengeance. MUU will be lucky to survive. the best it can hope for is somebody looking for a cash shell.

38% up today. just a fluke, an oddity or does anyone think it might be worth a shot at trying to recover some of the losses we no doubt all hold?

well, at least they are still alive. if you believe that everything in life balances out over time, muu must be due some good karmah soon. perhaps a giant diamond mine in tasmania?

So they sell the mine pay off creditors & may have some money left
to look around for a new investment. Any thoughts anyone.
