04/8/2011 11:12 | Just full blown panic, indiscriminate selling. No one buying and MMs not willing to take any stock. Will look at absolute bargain in 12mth i reckon. | stegrego
04/8/2011 10:13 | Just got txt alert on the dip below 250, no stop, can't see any reason though, TU due soon if last year repeats. | paleje
04/8/2011 09:50 | Stpped out at 260p - but this is crazy!! | nomunnofun
26/7/2011 07:26 | Cheers for that nomunnofun. Good to be reminded we'll be paid our divi in the next few days. And also that the ownership is so nicely tight, with 76% held as follows: Major Shareholders Stake % Michael O'Connell 8.20 MS International Group Pension Scheme trustee 7.10 Bank of New York (Nominees) Limited 6.90 Mrs Patricia Snipe 4.40 Michael Bell 26.14 Cavendish Asset Management Ltd 13.30 David Pyle 10.00 Total 76.04 | rivaldo

22/7/2011 19:49 | Can anyone tell me the date of the agm please ? Have tried everywhere but can't find it. For some reason l can't seem to access the msi website. | mikepompeyfan
13/7/2011 11:48 | A 4k buy at 280p has done the trick nicely. MSI could well achieve 35p-40p EPS this year imo, and perhaps a lot more. | rivaldo
06/7/2011 11:38 | All that's happened is that the bloke who runs T.M.F's Value Shares portfolio took profits on his shares - around 100% profits from memory. An e-mail went out yesterday, and a few lemmings have folowed him. I can partly understand it, but imo the upside at this point is even greater than it has been in the past: - the US defence orders underpin future profits - we now have all 3 divisions firing nicely, whereas before there were doubts about Global-MSI and MSI-Forks - the Balance Sheet is in even better shape Time to take advantage of any share price weakness - and it's ISAble. | rivaldo
06/7/2011 09:24 | Small volume summer sales methinks, buyers on hols, not a red flag imo. | paleje
06/7/2011 09:17 | Grump - whats up here then? | gorilla36
28/6/2011 11:19 | Bouncing now. It's been a long time since any company buybacks - now would be a good time for MSI to start buying their shares back again. | rivaldo
23/6/2011 10:26 | Cheers Mr T. Looks like bargain time is here - the MMs have dropped the price 25p on just £8k of trades! | rivaldo
22/6/2011 12:58 | Patricia59 - as you said, MSI has worked out well in recent weeks. Rivaldo - thanks for your insights and analysis. I hope you're right about 40p eps this year; MSI are certainly performing and look nicely positioned for the future. Cheers, T | mr. t
22/6/2011 11:34 | Shell are one of Global-MSI's biggest customers: I noticed today that Shell have just bought 254 new petrol stations costing £240 million - I'd assume that all of these will require rebranding and potentially big refurbishment: This could just be worth an awful lot of money for MSI. | rivaldo
21/6/2011 10:13 | Further coverage I hadn't seen: "MSI shares soar as profits hit record high Published on Friday 10 June 2011 06:00 ENGINEERING group MS International said annual profits doubled to a record high, sending its shares soaring by 29 per cent. The Doncaster-based group, which has three divisions spanning defence, forgings and petrol station forecourts, said pre-tax profits in the year to the end April hit £6.7m. Revenues increased by a third to £54.2m as all three divisions bounced back from the recession........etc | rivaldo
20/6/2011 11:59 | Cheers connor - I'm now hoping for 40p+ EPS this year given that 20p EPS in the last H2, so on that basis there should be at least another 50% upside here. | rivaldo
19/6/2011 13:38 | Geez, this one still going up. You make a fair point Riv. I was particularly interested in the segmental analysis from the Nov figs (shame they didn't include something similar in the final results). Using that as a read across for margins I estimated that the US deal could be worth £3.6m. Defence also seemed to be making up 60% or Rev but 100% of profits, so a positive outlook for that division bodes well. Kicking myself, but still plenty to play for as you say. | connor23
17/6/2011 09:28 | Thanks rivaldo - found my 1035 - the low volume has a lot to do with one's inability to buy any kind of quantity. | nomunnofun
17/6/2011 09:23 | Nomunnofun, try here: I was surpirsed to see so much activity on PLUS - £60k of trades already today on top of £35k on the main board equates to probably a month's worth of normal MSI trading in just a couple of hours! Very encouraging to see a good rise on such volumes. | rivaldo
17/6/2011 08:49 | Any experts know how to find plus trades on advfn, presumably where mine is shown? My little buy seems to have sparked matters. | nomunnofun
17/6/2011 08:32 | Had to buy @315p this am. Impossible to buy any quantity. | blueball
17/6/2011 08:14 | Just dipped my toe in to buy 1035 - hard to get these and paid 309.9 . Even that small buy has bumped edged the share price upwards. | nomunnofun |
