T'was me rivaldo !

Hi all. I've been looking at this one for a few weeks. Although gratifying to see the margin and costs almost disappear within 4 hours, I am in this for the future - it looks quite, quite encouraging.

Miss this and there might be tears imo :-)

Agreed. Higher highs and higher lows all the way up, and with strong growth in all 3 divisions no reason to stop now.

Looks like only a late 8K stopped this from moving up more today.

4p from a new high and when we go through it there will be a rush to buy imo.

You can almost buy at the bottom of its rising trend line now and RSI soesn't often get much lower than it is today.

The wait will have been well worth it imo.

Well these are going in my 2006 Stockchallenge they are that cheap. Director buying (70% increase in holding) and company share buy backs at near this level they are hideously cheap imo.

PE 8 falling to 6 imo, miles too cheap.

Did Vosper Thorneycroft (VT) not refit the ex-royal navy frigates for the New Zealand navy with MSI guns?

As an aside... whats with the current proclivity of companies to use boring initials, like "VT", instead of grand old names like "Vosper Thorneycroft"?

Or am I just getting old?

reckon any new guns will be to the MSI barrel spec Rivaldo - good news for MSI I'd say.

And a 6,500 share buy as well this afternoon. Good on the 10k seller getting a decent price, but if there's a tip I reckon he'll miss out on another 15p-20p, and that's just in the short-term...

10K protected trade - reckon that's what slowed this up but the 5K buy cleard a bit.

Perhaps we're on the up from here with that out the way.

I was so amazed I've actually phoned the RNS News Service to check. You're right CR - they introduced charges in 2002 (just after my time, I was out the country that year). The cost varies according to the RNS, so results (they're longer) are £150, others are £100 and shorter ones are £50.

More surprisingly, AIM companies pay the same as main market companies, which is farcical.

Even more ridiculous - in olden times I used to arrange and send RNS's manually using faxes etc until the LSE started to accept electronic communications, and it was then all free. Now it's all electronically based and should take a fraction of the time to accept and put down the wires - yet they're now charging these exorbitant fees! Unbelievable.

I see peeps are buying MSI by stealth today in 1k and 1.4k lots - seems to be working :o))

Wow, 150 quid! Do you know how much it is for AIM?

Yep, £150 Rivalo. I listened to Andy Brough last week on Bloomberg (fund manager) and he quoted the outrageous cost - said that's why the LSE was being bid for, the huge fees.

These little aim companies wouldn't be able to issue RNS's for trivia if they were fully listed!

Surely it doesn't cost £150 to issue an RNS CR? It was free in my time only a few years ago, and it strikes me as a complete cheek if true. No wonder the Stock Exchange is rolling in it if so.

Good to see a bit more buying today.

Yep, agree, no forecast for MSI but we do have:

2003 = 1.1p eps
2004 = 4.8p eps
2005 = 10.8p eps
2006 = 7.7pp eps in H1

Then when H2 tends to be the stronger half and they hage the guns contract with the Royal Navy you do have momentum for a strong year this year and H1 next year boosted by the guns contract too. That at least gives you the chance of making your own forecasts imo.

And no nonsense too - I wonder how much they save on having no Nomad and not putting out RNS's for the slightest thing? It costs £150 to issue an RNS via the LSE. When you see so many issuing them just to say the MD has broken wind it makes you think.

Mind you, there's no broker forecast for MSI either :o)) The P/E, yield and assets are slightly better though...

Do we (just) have a breakout? I can't see this price holding long with any more buying. Still in a current year P/E of only 8 or 9 imo, and maybe less as you say CR.

PMK can keep running away from me, I can't put a value on it so I'm not a buyer.

No profits, can't see a broker forecast, no yield, little in the way of assets, new service will impact H2 so profits further out. Watch out for the crowd to jump ship if they do imo.
