19/10/2006 08:30 | Amazing how one minute the spread is 6p, then in a flash, it's 3p. Just curious - does anyone know if this kind of swing on spreads happens in the States? | iandippie
19/10/2006 08:24 | Moving again - does anyone know whether the date for the interims been set | smiler1

18/10/2006 17:08 | The monthly stock chart now looks like batmans head and we're on the peak of the second ear! Is there such a thing as 'batmans head' for chartist? | spiritbear

16/10/2006 18:33 | come on, it's sleeping - it's not dead or pining for the fyords! You could be holding a lot worse - it's just the lack of newsflow that's frustrating. When they annouce good results and the price rockets I'm trimming to I can buy back ahead of the next results. They will then get bought out by VT Group @ £2+ a share while I am not holding! Oh the dilemmas! :-) CR | cockneyrebel
16/10/2006 18:16 | I'll need to get the jump leads out of my car, in that case! | spiritbear
16/10/2006 18:12 | Signs of life soon, I hope. | rochdae
16/10/2006 18:11 | If the share price graph were a heart monitor, i would say that the patient (msi) was a flatliner! | spiritbear

11/10/2006 17:30 | Well, I've had a great day today. All stocks in my portfolio up. Errr... apart from one little stubborn beggar! ;-( | sidebar
11/10/2006 09:13 | Interesting table, rivaldo. I presume that £5-£10m was for direct contracts or sales though (incl training?). MSI's new work on ships would be as a sub-contractor, paid by main contractor, so would not show up in that table. Wonder if there will be share buybacks prior to interims this year? | xdavid
11/10/2006 07:33 | FYI I got sent this news alert, which shows MSI-Defence as one of those having received £5m-£10m from the MOD in 2005/6 (looks like to 1/4/06?): I looked up the 2005 table and MSI were in the same bracket. Maybe that recent £15m contract will push MSI up to the £10m-£25m bracket next time round? The interims are only just over a month away now. MSI shareholders can start coming out of hibernation to gather their nuts in (so to speak)... | rivaldo
09/10/2006 08:35 | MSI is on the Main market, not AIM. | xdavid
05/10/2006 11:37 | I see that the LSE is proposing forcing ALL Aim companies to have their own web site showing financial info, etc. Expected to become mandatory next year. A good proposal methinks. | sidebar |
