18/10/2006 10:55 | Hey guys, we are positively motoring today! | doubleorquits
17/10/2006 19:16 | yep, people forget that! :-) CR | cockneyrebel
17/10/2006 19:12 | At least it didn't go down today when pretty much everything else did. | reeshar
16/10/2006 17:33 | come on, it's sleeping - it's not dead or pining for the fyords! You could be holding a lot worse - it's just the lack of newsflow that's frustrating. When they annouce good results and the price rockets I'm trimming to I can buy back ahead of the next results. They will then get bought out by VT Group @ £2+ a share while I am not holding! Oh the dilemmas! :-) CR | cockneyrebel
16/10/2006 17:16 | I'll need to get the jump leads out of my car, in that case! | spiritbear
16/10/2006 17:12 | Signs of life soon, I hope. | rochdae
16/10/2006 17:11 | If the share price graph were a heart monitor, i would say that the patient (msi) was a flatliner! | spiritbear
13/10/2006 07:38 | milesy - your right mate, never mind rugby tonight, COME ON DRAGONS!!! Stormy | onlyonestorm

12/10/2006 23:54 | ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!! Stormy | onlyonestorm
12/10/2006 11:29 | Perhaps if someone bought a share it would help? I'm sure I have a spare couple of quid somewhere. | sidebar
11/10/2006 23:59 | Sidebar, I know how you feel, can't be too long now!!! COME ON MSI!!!!!!!! Stormy | onlyonestorm
11/10/2006 16:30 | Well, I've had a great day today. All stocks in my portfolio up. Errr... apart from one little stubborn beggar! ;-( | sidebar
11/10/2006 08:13 | Interesting table, rivaldo. I presume that £5-£10m was for direct contracts or sales though (incl training?). MSI's new work on ships would be as a sub-contractor, paid by main contractor, so would not show up in that table. Wonder if there will be share buybacks prior to interims this year? | xdavid
11/10/2006 06:33 | FYI I got sent this news alert, which shows MSI-Defence as one of those having received £5m-£10m from the MOD in 2005/6 (looks like to 1/4/06?): I looked up the 2005 table and MSI were in the same bracket. Maybe that recent £15m contract will push MSI up to the £10m-£25m bracket next time round? The interims are only just over a month away now. MSI shareholders can start coming out of hibernation to gather their nuts in (so to speak)... | rivaldo
09/10/2006 07:35 | MSI is on the Main market, not AIM. | xdavid
05/10/2006 10:37 | I see that the LSE is proposing forcing ALL Aim companies to have their own web site showing financial info, etc. Expected to become mandatory next year. A good proposal methinks. | sidebar
04/10/2006 16:44 | It's life but not as we know it! Happy to hold this one though. Results will come at some point. | rochdae
04/10/2006 16:01 | That's life here I'm afraid - it feels like death but it is life, believe me :-) CR | cockneyrebel
04/10/2006 12:20 | The share price increases are about as tight as two coats of paint! | spiritbear
03/10/2006 10:04 | Well paint is dry now applying a4th coat!! GROWL Stormy | onlyonestorm
03/10/2006 10:02 | Rivaldo: Any news on this? | spiritbear
28/9/2006 19:59 | OK, here's something of interest to get you away from watching that drying paint: "VT Shipbuilding continues to make good progress on production of the Royal Navy's Type 45 destroyers. The Royal Navy Offshore Patrol Vessel (Helicopter), HMS Clyde, is set to be deployed to the Falkland Islands next Spring. Negotiations with the Sultanate of Oman for the construction of three Ocean Patrol Vessels continue to progress, with contract completion expected before the end of 2006." MSI are providing the gunsystems for both the Clyde and the Type 45 destroyers. Can we also assume MSI will fit out the three Patrol Vessels for Oman? I'd have thought so. | rivaldo |
