FWLIW I have sold a few today to buy back in to CAPD. Nothing specific to MSI where I was previously very overweight. |
I hope this downward trend is not due to informed selling, there is no obvious reason for it otherwise. |
No surprise to see it bounce today |
More like covering derivatives perhaps |
Crazy! I would have thought this would have fallen the least Profit taking I suppose |
In freefall today. |
Why are defence stocks being hit as hard? Absurd |
harryw, what channel are you looking at, 3 weeks? |
Bought more, as bottom of ascending channel on chart |
It would typically form part of a layered system. Radar detection, RF & GPS Jamming and kinetic effectors. |
I read a couple of weeks ago that an armaments company was developing an anti drone system based on interfering with the radio signals from the launcher. I guess others on this site know of it. Does anyone know if it is valid competition for MSI? |
Seems to be doing that often now! |
All time high today. |
Breaking higher |
Norbert, Thanks, I had missed the RNS for some reason. |
Got his divi as well! |
That’s the 300k bought by the company at the full offer as RNSd. I suspect they’ve bought them from ex Director and NED David Pyle but it’s just a hunch, equally it could be Stonehage. Must have been a ‘friendly̵7; seller for the company to have paid such a full price. |
A late reported trade of 300,000 shares yesterday. |
https://www.defensenews.com/industry/2024/07/11/bollinger-ready-to-vie-for-us-canada-findland-icebreaker-contracts/Potentially longer term good news for MSI given the PSC is planned to receive the Mk38 Mod4 x 2 |
Maybe today |
Norbert, thanks for all your alerts, they take me to info where I might not normally go. |
Break to new highs today I think. I bought even more yesterday |

There is excess cash. And they should return a significant chunk of it to the owners.
The last thing we want is the cash blown on an unnecessary acquisition, for example.
The sum - 42m + - is far too big for organic capex. Or do you think it isn't? |
