I can't remember what his last target price was - £6 perhaps so we'll clear of thatGood day all round for packaging companies. I'll eat humble pie about my words about Macfarlene. They seem to have it right as well.

Any update from ST yet? I don't slavishly (or at all) follow him but plenty do, so likely it affect the share price if / when he updates...

Brokers had forecast full year pre-tax profit of £7.6m and EPS of 32.1.

At half year MPAC is already at £4.7m and 18.3.

2nd half may see a further acceleration as EMEA recovery continues.

Also, add in potential acquisitions.

All IMHO.

Looking at the detail in the figures i think Equity development have left "plenty in the tank sir"
I expect them to upgrade later.

I am going to be the first to say i see 700p here now on what we know with possible further increases by Christmas.

I retain my shares in this excellent sound business.

My key extract from a very quick read parked by the side of the road before work... we "are pleased to be upgrading expectations for the full year results given the strength of current trading and our outlook for the second half . The Group's long-term prospects also remain positive".Hopefully a positive day ahead!

I sold half my holding at 593P on Thursday. I still think it's an excellent company but my holding was just getting too large for my portfolio and I also wanted to free up some cash.

I was considering selling half when the price got up towards 600 in February but then saw how big the quoted spread was and waited. If I had realised that I could get a better quote within the spread I would probably have sold then.

I think it might take a while to fully break out from 600.

Thanks TigerIike you I'm in for the long haul with MPAC. I'm very optimistic for the future. Small market cap and there must be consolidation in the sector at some stageKind regards.

Interesting Tiger. Unusual for share price to move up to and ahead of broker forecast in the absence of public news. Maybe more is known....

Whilst growth fundamentals are there ( i touch on that by saying orders flood in)

My point is that this has reached current brokers forecasts based on what we know.

I point out that upgrades have come and i expect more.

However on what we currently know the fair valuation has been reached.

I have been here from the 40p days and bought heavily in the last pull back.

Similar situations may arise when we get no news flow or quiet periods.

If everything goes to plan and growth is actually produced going forward then the 600 will have to be revised up.
However at the moment whilst likely its pure speculation as to where we go from here.

kind regards

I wouldn't have thought it was speculative territory. The growth fundamentals are. Attracting buyers. I think there is good growth to come here. macfarlene is a stock that isn't as good a quality and is lagging now

600 was my target on what we know.

It may increase as orders flood in.

They are good at upgrading.

We are in speculation territory now
