Picked up some of these at an average of £2.30 in the March sales. Luckily I'd sold my oilers through mid to late Feb and had cash to invest. I was looking for stocks which were badly beaten down but which had been strong technically prior to the crash. This had been one of the strongest technically just prior to the crash so it fit the bill perfectly.

Having been active in the markets around 2008 I'd learnt the lesson, in a crash buy quality and aim to keep for the medium term (3-5 years +).

420 to 450p JUST 3 WEEKS ago.
Now up a clear £1 from those crazy days.

Pleased the write up is good and has focused minds again on what a good business this is.

As I said I may consider letting a few go at £6.00 to balance my portfolio.

I do feel this will go very much higher as further deals are done.

MoneyWeek is the only financial mag I subscribe to so I have just read the article and it is indeed very positive.

If you are too tight to buy it you could always take a quick browse in the W H Smith reference library. It's on page 28 of this week's issue.

#MPAC up 5% - ADVFN Free BB has a helpful post saying MoneyWeek has written them up. (Might save the week for me ;-) ....)

Thanks WD, much appreciated.

Also to patsyluck whose post I've just noticed.

I think that when it shot up to 520P that might have been too far too soon.

We now be back to a bit more steady progression which may be no bad thing.

Took the opportunity to top up Friday at 434. At that point I feel plenty of upside potential.

https://masterinvestor.co.uk/equities/small-cap-round-up-featuring-alumasc-augean-devro-and-more/MPAC Group (LON:MPAC) – time buy before the finals?A week ago, the shares of this high-speed packaging and automation solutions group reacted well after the full-year trading update. They touched 530p in response to better-than-expected trading for 2020, together with encouraging outlook predictions for this year. Subsequently they have seen some profit-taking take the shares down to 485p, before closing last night at 500p.It always has been a 'roller coaster' in price, due to the large 'dealing spread'. Even so, there are several onlookers predicting an early try to 600p as their price aims.It was certainly a winner for my profiles list over the last year or so, and I see no reason to be out of the shares just yet.In fact, ahead of the 1st March finals there could still be buying opportunities.

What's changed is sentiment,
with growing awareness that Vax isn't the quick fix media was touting.

bought all day and as low as 452p

Love buying on the weak days.

What's changed ? NOTHING

This is far too cheap and I expect a strong bounce as this is now far too cheap.

DYOR please

Sorry to ask silly question, but assume you are saying that you are buying because
you see a £5.50 share price, ie 75p from current price ?
