CT I suggest you take a look at the Piworld interview with Richard Leonard and Andy Brough on 23rd October. RL discusses Macfarlane at 10:19. Trouble is the share price has moved considerably since that date.

Often cheap online platforms like to show clients what they have 'saved' them, so actual bid/offer is usually inside those shown on screen quotes.

the cheaper the broker often the bigger spread

trading 212 are the same been running a dummy account for months.

I pay a broker and more commission but save in the price

Just looking at HL again and they are showing 534 - 564P, however I tried a dummy sale and was offered 545P.
