Castleford Tiger, I know you have really researched MPAC as I saw your online interview recently.

Two or three years ago I think they wanted to sell off a redundant site for cash in High Wycombe or somewhere around there? I know they initially could not go ahead because they could not get planning permission. I seem to recall that at one year end they were putting forward a new proposal which they were sounding positive about. Do you know if this happened or if not, is it likely to do so? It would be a nice cash addition.

Suet, I was looking at Smith's this morning and am watching. What is the frustration? Like me you probably thought that there is value to had currently.I can see that the price has not been rising anywhere near others in the sector hence why I thought there is potential for just that. Still watching and I could be wrong.

Bytheway, Mpac is now a totally different company. Automation is a booming trend where many bluechip companies are investing ro remain competitive. Summing they operate in growth and resilient sectors and we have a good risk reward company here with a very good management. As terry smith says, waiting is the more difficult thing

Hello, Castleford Tiger and shaker44,

These are Japanese value dogs.

I won't go into huge detail, as I'm aware that few investors want to diversify into akitas and shiba inus, preferring the more readily understood British mongrel and pug.

((I have done a post on broad considerations on investing in Japan on the VALUE share BB at post 143 on the 4th September.))

Charle Co, Rhythm Watch Co, Tesec, Nishimoto and Tokyo Broadcasting, and one or two others are all within a few % of my long-term buy price. Fukuvi and hi-lex are two I already hold, but are still fantastic value.

All are trading at deep discounts to tangible value.

have a good weekend!
