Yeah I wonder if it's a few insiders selling. There appears to be a lot of 2000 blocks going over the last few days (unless I read the trades incorrectly), which made me suspect an insider, or friends of an insider were off-loading. Other than that it might just be a tree shake. No reason for it to drop right now

"...exploiting information voids" A nice term used by Simon Thompson regarding another share (DUKE) but equally applicable here too... (?)

Me too Tiger. Not quite as many as you but this price looks way too cheap. Unless pre update leaks caused nervousness..
Whatever, great long term hold.

Where has a year gone? I was buying in the similar dip last year while stranded in Portugal enjoying the wonderful empty golf courses. Who would have thought we would be in similar stop go territory regarding overseas travel a year on

I see the 20 day EMA crossed below the 50 day EMA on 12 June last year, then the 120 day EMA on 22 June. This year the same pattern seems to be repeating almost to the day for 20 and 50. It'll cross 120 today. The pattern reversed around 12 July last year after an update on 8 July.

Mid-July normally. In the odd circumstances of last year, it was an operating update on 08-Jul.

A number of companies have recently reported supply chain and logistical issues, possibly due to the amount of Covid financial stimulus with a resulting increase in the demand for raw materials plus potential price increases.

I wonder if some of this concern is the reason for the fall in the MPAC share price.

A positive trading update could hopefully reverse the current trend.

It had a long upwards ride on the back of tips from a couple of well respected commentators and encouraging results. Recently there has been almost nothing and the price has fallen a little over 20% off its high. A company with a £100M m/cap can easily fall like that from just a lack of interest. Most trades seem very much PI's, possibly getting bored and then worried respectively - it doesn't take a lot for the very small companies to get knocked downwards.
Of course the worry is there is bad news is out there that insiders have, but which that has not trickled down to the PI's. But the lack of large sales suggests not.
At this stage I continue to hold - and if the rate of the drop eases may buy more. The reason I bought was because the strategy looked good, the business had been transformed and the company was now in one of the more profitable areas of the market. At the time I bought I felt there could be 3 to 5 years of outperformance on offer.

Very quiet out there, currently not a buyer in sight. I am, however happy to hold a fair few of these.
