14/6/2019 08:04 | Wonder why the mm always hikes up the bid on results here as they always get sold off no matter how good they are. | dave4545
14/6/2019 07:43 | This has been a test of faith I agree.....not selling one share now. I'm bedding down for a 5 year hold and a market cap. many times what we have today. You know what they say about the USA Gold Rush. It wasn't the miners who made the money, but the people selling the shovels. Guess who's selling the 5G shovels here! | molatovkid
14/6/2019 07:43 | Yes rivaldo - must add the word 'profound' to the keywords/phrases highlighting :) | gleach23
14/6/2019 07:40 | ROFL molatovkid I thought the same last year when I bought on results day at 2.31p. Have had to be very patient waiting for other people to realise this is the case. | shanklin
14/6/2019 07:35 | Cracking results, with 5G set to transform the company’s future. But why do they announce on a Friday ?? | jakleeds
14/6/2019 07:34 | A £5m market cap with the 5G explosion yet to hit domestically and in Europe...this has multi-bagger written all over it. | molatovkid
14/6/2019 07:25 | Excellent numbers - £1.1m PBT and 0.27p EPS for a £5.7m m/cap company trading at 2p makes MOGP look very cheap indeed. The EPS would have been a lot higher but for the very high tax charge at 38% - presumably deferred tax or somesuch, but much higher percentage-wise than last year. The outlook in particular is very, very bullish. It's not often you see such confidence not only for the current year, but for years ahead, with the introduction of 5G having a "profound" impact on Group performance. Mucho upside here imho. EDIT - Shanklin, ta very much, that explains the tax charge. Even better! | rivaldo
14/6/2019 07:21 | Most companies would have shown adjusted earnings increasing by 28% | shanklin
14/6/2019 07:19 | Download full results from … to see Note 6 which explains the high tax rate. Half of its an exceptional, so underlying post-tax profits growth strong. | shanklin
14/6/2019 07:14 | A very decent set of numbers - and a very positive outlook. This could do very well from here onwards. | lord gnome
14/6/2019 07:14 | Looks very good to meKey Features Annual PBT increases by 28% to £1,109,332 (2017: £864,372) and has risen by 250% over the last three years.Group's secured order book currently stands at £16.4mTurnover: £16.2m (2017: £12.7m) and has increased by 168% over the last three financial years.Operating profit: £1,129,173 (2017: £902,282)Earnings per share: 0.268p (2017: 0.254p)Net cash position: £677,747 (2017: £520,301)Gross Margin: 15.5% (2017: 17.5%)Operating Margin: 7.0% (2017: 7.1%)The Board expects the Group to produce another strong performance in 2019. Financial Performance The Directors are delighted to announce that over the last three financial years Net Profit Before Tax has increased by250%. Even though gross margin has been reduced during the year (as a result of the lower margins on some of the larger contracts) operating profits have increased significantly because the Group's overhead base has not increased during a year when turnover increased substantially. | susiebe
14/6/2019 07:08 | Wow.....great performance and the 5G / Telecoms angle is new to me. With everything in its favour, it's becoming clear this company with 'extremely strong levels of activity' is going to grow and grow.... With an EPS of 0.268p that puts us on a P/E of 7.....one for value investors. | molatovkid
14/6/2019 07:07 | Friday is always the day they announce. FOR SALE I think. Not bad but such a micro cap company have to produce more margin imhoBOD needs a shake up now new young blood required. Let's see what the market thinks | a2584728 |
