Maybe they forgot to delay it.

If a genuine trade only a couple of holders have that size to sell on to a new investor AMP and Invesco.

Delighted by bookbrokers concern but it highlights what I have long suspected. Most investors have absolutely zero idea of how many fantastic companies are on AIM. Typically capitalised between £200 million and £800 million there are a stream of profitable growing companies. They are a fantastic place to invest especially if you are concerned about inheritance tax. Many AIM companies are eligible for Business Property Tax relief. This means any investment falls outside an estate after only two years. Here is small selection of brilliant profitable companies; Renew, Restore, Iomart, Gooch & Housego, Fevertree, Youngs, Craneware, Caretech, RWS. Fevertree has a market cap of £2,5 Billion, yes BILLION.
So thank you for your concern bookbroker but it is not a PONZI scheme!!
I'm a bit fed up with everyone moaning about AIM. It is easy to chuck money at speculative companies and get caught on a spike or drop. But there are companies who have a genuine chance of becoming long term successes. Once Motif approaches £200 million Market cap the fund managers of AIM portfolios will be watching like a hawk. Indeed they may be already.

Not at all. There is a wide spread of extremely good companies like majestic, fevertree etc

I also doubt it's traders because imo they don't play the charts of low volume traded companies.

One of 3 things imho, this AMP lot are selling, there is a placing coming and the insiders are getting out, or the mm's are just playing the chart back to 40-42p. Doubt it's traders, they'd have been out 3 days ago. But to be struggling after such great news is odd. As for AIM, it is a con ducky, that's not news. You've just got to try and second guess what the 'con' is. Certainly not a place to 'invest' anymore, at least not in the traditional way. Aimho, dyor, etc...

its all just a big con, once you accept that then you can feed off the crumbs they drop at their feet, like pigeons in the park

Not mtfb fault 95% of the market these days is day traders. If everybody is selling
then the price has to come back.

Wheeliedealer, may I commend you for your excellent blog! I've just had a look, though cannot for life of me find your thoughts on MTFB. I also like your approach, which is essentially about the power of compounding; but you hold a lot of shares!

The move is definitely to sell here and buy back in over the next couple of months. This will see a steady drop for me and then settle at a much lower figure until the next piece of news comes out. People don't understand pharmaceutical companies so the main reason for the recent rise will be short term holders buying in. Now that has seen its growth, I suspect these traders will sell and the price will decrease and stagnate again. I bought at 32, sold at 48 and will now sit and wait until I feel its best to come back in.

I've been watching since reading recent "news" comments but the share price seems to drop each day I decide to buy a few, today I've decoded it's probably best just jump in and simply wait for news :)
