Looking superb here. I think they'll get taken out - FDA approval is not something that comes cheap and easy so MTFB would prove a tasty morsel for a large player

You could always sell half, but I am still accumulating :-)

I have been patiently holding for a while now and the thought of a binary bet now when we are so close is really scary. All the signs point to success however no-one ever really knows..

The share price is moving up on high volumes. If the FDA approve iclaprim would Motif Bio be looking for a distribution partner or an outright sale to a major pharma company?

Not sure tbh philoosh, the mob will probably arrive on FDA approval day and could take it anywhere.

When this passed through the phase 3 trial it was reported on Bloomberg news, upto $8billion market per annum in just the US alone

Your guess is as good as mine, 95p could be very low if they announce a partnership to shift the product straight after the FDA announcement

Seem to remember IMM went up massively on speculation before tanking on failure - I wonder how high the share price would have climbed there if it had been sucessful?

Please bear in mind the outcome here is binary like IMM; to the moon or through the floor

If that were the case surely that would send the share price sky rocketing. What kinds of targets could be achieved? It would go past 0.95p easily wouldn't it?

Might get approval before that date; approval was likely to be within 6 months to my recollection

"The NDA has been granted Priority Review, and the FDA has set a target decision date under the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) of February 13, 2019."

Now through the resistance at 36p, next stop is about 50p by my reckoning - resistance is negligable uo to there - ignore the chart

c007 - Yes, it's a nail biter this one. I have kept my exposure (20K) quite limited as I cannot afford to absorb a loss if the FDA choose to withhold approval. If the FDA do award approval I'm gonna increase my exposure when the price settles down following the initial spike assuming it's a positive RNS..the link at 2462 does seem pretty confident in its assertion-prediction that we will a positive response from the FDA

gersemi: good find not long to wait now I remain optimistic on outcome. OXB was good IMM a disaster so MTFB FDA approval would be a boost.

'Having received qualified infectious disease product (QIDP) and fast track designation, iclaprim is likely to be approved for ABSSSI and will help fill the unmet need for novel antibiotics active against Gram-positive bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).'

Hoggar,

Not expecting a partner announcement until after the FDA approval as it is now so close, however could come straight after

Just my thoughts

Prior to a FDA certificate, Investors want confirmation of a marketing and distribution partner in order give the drug maximum exposure and save costs. If a partner is found then investors will also require full operational and marketing costs and projections to evaluate market value.

Lion heart, are you shorting then as it won’t get much cheaper. Only if a bad FDA decision and most people are not expecting this. But perhaps you talk negative for your own means.
