More often than not, secondary patent filings seem to offer only minimal additional protection, but in this case it sounds like it will provide a real barrier to entry for an additional 8 years or so.

Worth noting the FDA advisory committee's positive vote for Omadacycline in the treatment of ABSSSI.

The share price performance for Paratek is not exactly encouraging. The market seems to have doubts about new antibiotics.

Patents registered in America are not worth a carrot. Morgan will agree with that statement. He and his Amphion business plan is still chasing down patent infringements with no hope of success.

Todays close would seem to suggest it has broken down your lower trendline, this will become the barrier and we should break lower.

My charting system has just posted a Sell and the RSI is weakening. I am looking for a level to buy but holding off as a break through 30p would indicate a drop to test 26p.

Back in with a sneaky 10k sub 30p as are a few others looking at the quick trades pushing the share price back up. Looking for a short tdrm capital gain on the back of NDA approval... just hoping they filled the paperwork out correctly, took them long enough :/

Any early FDA signposting or a European application would see this return to mid-30s imo. I'm the meantime it's narrowing range trading is well set.

yes your correct with your observation, indeed it usually breaks out in the same direction as the initial movement. So as its in a long term rising trend, I would expect it to break upwards, but you just never know for sure. Fingers XXX

I agree, 31p should be the bottom, not sure the submission was ever going to move the share price north but FDA approval must do as is not a given. Other than that, I would think only a commercial deal will have that effect. The wait goes on

Were touching the bottom of the 2yr trend line now, so would expect it to bounce from here. Were also in a nicely formed wedge, so expect a breakout one way or another over the next few months (just hope it's upwards and not downwards).
